Exactly, they fit right before the axle.
Here are links. Both are the same thing, one is polished and the other is natural.

^+1 to all .......oh ok... i have not looked back there in a while... how much room is there for a mid-muffler set up? rattle problems anyone?
and wondering... i went to an xpipe... but... would a h pipe help out on some low end torque when im not on the juice... cause the 125 shot moves too quick to feel any gains from other parts... and i know you guys said that the hot rod cams loose torque in the bottom. So, how much will an H-pipe make up... the 4.10's really help out.

I don't think an H would help out much if any at all. There is room for a round bullet type mufflers back there. My resonators are 4x12 and they fit fine. Some people put 4"X18" resonators. The magnflows are 14" so they will fit. These would be weld in so there shouldn't be any rattling.

Shelby is its origin. He made the original GT/CS in the 60's for california due to for sales in california. along with the green hornet and high country special, and the CS doubled for his initials. I think thats the referance. Besides its all owened by ford now andits all just "overpricd body kits" especially the rip of shelby GT. How much was the shelby GT package.. Im sure it was way more than The CS package. and besides the hood scoop and stripes its the same body kit.

But seriously, I bet it would sound wicked with the magnapacks welded in before the axle. I've heard that setup and it is nice.

Has anyone tried the cherry bomb glasspacks? ~$30 ain't bad at all. Lol, and yes I love my strait pipes but its a little annoying between 2,000 and 2,500 rpm.

Those glasspacks will make it sound even more like an old truck. It's hard to explain, they have a real dull, crackly tone to them.

Not to high jack, but to tone down a car with strait pipes and no cats. What mufflers would you suggest?

I would go with either pypes M80 or magnflow round mufflers (the ones posted above). The pypes run about 50-55 each and the magnaflows are 60-70 each.

Well trill, my opinion is biased, I suggest Borla Stingers. I love how my car sounds with longtubes, offroad X pipe, and stingers. But I have heard cars with offroad X pipes and mid-mounted Magnapacks, and I think they sound pretty damn good too.

Back to my eariler post, this video is what caused me to consider the bullet style dumped under the car approach. I think it sounds great.
Ultimately I decided to go with a catted H though. The magnapack set up mentioned would sound great also

I would but I don't want to get rid of my tips, so any muffler I'm going to get is going to be a mid-muffler. I guess I'll have to look at magnaflow or pypes 80's. I just want the car to still be loud at idle and scream at WOT, and to get rid of the 2k drone.

This is crazy, my car sounds almost identical to this one when its not on a recorded video? thats wierd... this has an H-pipe?
