do any of you guys have pics of your stock motor mounts installed on your motor... I have 3 studs and 3 bolts. i know that the side where there are 2 bolts, the top one is a bolt and the bottom is a stud. that leaves 1 bolt and 1 stud. i am trying to figure out which side the stud goes on "drivers or passenger". the haynes manual doesnt show any detailed pics so i cant figure it out. thanks

i tried to look... the starter ground and all bolts up to the front stud of the passenger side, and there is a ground strap that bolts to the front of the mount on the passenger side. both of which i KNOW studs go there... lol. i couldnt find any strap or anything that bolts to the back of the mounts... for some reason i thought i remembered something actually bolted to the motor after i got it out. i know it wasnt a dipstick tube but it was something like that.

ground goes to the back stud on the pass side, trans cooler lines to the front stud on the pass side, don't remember the drivers side off the top of my head.

the motor mount on drivers side has 2 studs, and they both go on the side where the mount has 2 holes..... the passengers side has a bolt on top, stud on bottom, and then a bolt on the side that has 1 bolt hole.... scroll down about 80% down the page on this site StangFreak, Stang Freaks, Mustang Forums, Mustang News, Mustang Clubs - How to Install BBK Tuned Length Headers
