Yea it does seem really good...Idk maybe I can talk to my boss at work and taking out somee vacation time cause I need to have something on my car fixed...she probally wouldnt mind.

yea thats what Im thinking...I mean **** If I just tell him to the lean the **** out of it at idle I dont see why he wouldnt.

So I emailed Mike Dez...He said Ill tune it with the pulley and make sure I get the driveablilty re-tune right for you this time for $80. I cant complain, seems like a good deal.

I think I may try to go back to him one more time, and if doesnt work out...Ill try Performance Dyno in Concord NH.

yea I pretty much did. He pretty much said, Ill definatley get it running right for you this time. Ill re-tune it with the pulley and everything for $80...which is a deal, as long as its right though lol

shaun i would say f him for charging to fix his problem the guy is a scam artist and has been for many many years

if you ever had a issue with one of petes tunes he would not charge to fix it
but again he does not ever screw up he has got these cars dialed ...i trying to pop my motor and couldnt. he is out of the way but its more than worth it

shaun do you know what you are running for timing?

Sounds good to me as long as he gets it right.

blackedout...how is the guy charging to fix his mistakes. Sounds to me hes charging for the retune for the smaller pulley, and while hes at it hell get the driveability right.


Hurry and get that **** done shaun!

yeah when i was there i thought that Pete was just down talking Dez out of competition. he was saying that Dez's tunes wouldn't pass emissions and he had a bunch of people coming to him to fix them. Pete is much more low key, but IMHO does a fantastic job.:D

but he said he has been there and had him fix it aleast once already so just out of customer service he should not charge him and a pulley on a car at his level and also mine are not that big of a deal cause they can only handle so much
and also there will ALWAYS be the dez vs pete debate in the region
i likes petes tune out of personal experince and my car is spot on and never had an issue to this day i am make 440 or so and drive it hard and it has 100k on it so that all i am saying on the ..not starting a a pissing contest

on and also he had my car done in less than 45 min

Yeah, nothing better than word of mouth! Dallas texas has a bunch of tuners and after doing lots of research, Manny@HPP was the one to go with and i definitely made the right choice!

Shaun, no big deal on trying the guy ONE MORE TIME. 80 bucks aint ****! So just give it a shot and after that, if its no good, you will be one more that has experience and that can save the next person. But let him do it, spend the 80 bucks, and see what happens. No harm.

Yea man I agree, Im gonna go back to Dez one more time. Im hoping he gets it right. I do trust him, Ive seen him tune my NA GT to a 760rwhp TT Cobra.

I can't say f him lol. In all honesty, hes a good guy. Hes not a scam artist, I just think he ****ed up. He might have re-tuned it the 2nd time with a bad Fuel rail pressure sensor too, that may have something to do with it. I did change that cause it was throwing codes.

Ill give Dez another try, can't beat $80 for a re-tune with the pulley, and thats what he charges for re-tunes, so hes fixing the idle problem for free, which imho he should.

Not sure what I have for timing. Ill find out on Monday when I get tuned

Good deal shaun! good luck with it man! And im glad you mentioned the "my n/a gt to TT cobra". When i got my SHITTY tune from Houston Performance, they had a bunch of BULLSHIT POS mustangs in there that werent making **** for power. But at HPP, Manny has 1000-1200 RWHP TT cobras running their in house TT kit. Guy has like 3 separate cobras and a TA that are all just MONSTERS!!! That let me know that he could tackle my supercharged stang! lol. And he can drive the 1006rwhp Cobra around town all day. NUTS!

He said he shipped mine out Monday priority...so it should be here tomorrow, or thursday.

Thanks man. I hope all goes well. Thats nuts 1006rwhp Cobra being DD thats ****in awesome.

When I went there for a re-tune, there was a Termi there, TT with an intercooler and aftercooler, made more than 760rwhp I forget exactly, on the stock bottom end. And it was sick. Hes doing the article in MM&FF with the 630+rwhp 2V with the D1 Procharger, AFM cams, and twisted wedge heads its the silver GT. He does know what hes doing for sure. So one more chance **** it.
