If your thinkin about doing heads I'd do the heads and cams at the same time.

I've never done a cam install on these engines, but it can be as hard as the old pushrod engines!

Thats the company "Crazylegs" used to or still does work for...You mgiht want to ask him about them...

Me personally the only cams that will be going in my car are from MPH www.modulapowerhouse.com

Yeah he is right...I cant spell...lol

been meaning to talk to you about that brah. :D
You already know that i am semi-retarded at times...

i just sold my COMP 262 cams for $345 keep your eyes peeled, a deal will pop up. install is actually easy if you have a retention tool... makes it a matter of getting the valve covers off. only thing you gotta keep your eyes on is timing, and i'd recommend getthem them degreed as well for optimum performance.

if you have a 99-01 1/2 GT then you'll also need to buy a bolt on cam gear set (70-75$) from RPMoutlet.

i did the install myself in a day if I had to do it again I could do it in a couple of hours, ive taken off and putten on valve covers on these motors now so many times it's a joke to me now
