I have a 2003 Mach 1 orginal owner with 14,900 miles on it mostly highway.
I change the oil/filter every 3,000 miles or (3)months which ever comes first.

QUESTION:

The car is four years old but only has 14,900 miles. What maintance should I perform????

It all depends on what you need man.. condition of your fluids..
You could try a dealership you trust and nave them do a 15K it was a pretty standard service at my dealership..
allot of maintenance is on a as needed basis.. there are some things like coolant and oil.. gear fluids that you can swap out at certain mileages.. I would add a bottle of Lucas fuel treatment to your next full tank of gas.. its great stuff.

I bought my 01 with 28,000 miles on it about 2 weeks ago and I had a tranny flush, motor vac, fuel filter replaced, air filter cleaned (k&n), oil change, and injector cleaner in the tank. I know mine has twice the miles as your and 2 years older but it did sit for a long period of time and was running a little ruff and now it runs perfect. But that is some basic maintenance you can have done. I dont know what the good gas is down in the states but I wont put anything but chevron in my tank.

AMEN to the GOOD GAS!!!!!! If anyone out there is putting AM/PM, 7-11 or any of those convenience store gases in your stang please stop. Use only the big companies Chev, Shell, 76 or others. I have family that drives fuel trucks and they delliver fuel to several different stations the Big Comps and the convenience stores and they have said that 7-11 and such is a lessor quality of fuel than Chev etc. just my 0.02 worth. :usa

Don't for get to check the headlight fluid! Everyone forgets that one...

No.. seriously.. TIRE PRESSURE. One most forget to check regularly. Will make a diff on tire wear and mpg.

+1 on the Chevron. I only use that stuff and think it helps keep the injectors clean. Techron ftw!

Chevron is the only thing that has touched my engine.. it has a small amount of fuel system cleaner already added to it.. And like i said above, one of those small bottles of Lucas fuel treatment every time you do a oil change.
