Painted the Pony, and intercooler Pipe

Yesterday I was bored so I decided to paint some stuff. Painted the intercooler piping from the outlet to the throttle body, and the pony on the grill. May look alittle dirty, just needs to be cleaned. I was having a hard time getting it all to fit without popping off. I bought some T-clamps afterwards..

looks pretty good if ya ask me, i had my intercooler piping sandblasted and powdercoated black.

Looks good man, if you decide to keep it you should change your sig pic to get a better view of the black pony. I have been wanting to do that for a while but never saw a good profile pic of the car, just head on.

came out good, howd the headlights turn out. Sorry I was pretty short and it took a bit to get back to you the other day, I was in the middle of having to paint some **** and didnt have much time. Let me know when you need/decide to go with the red. Itll only cost you shipping.

Thanks man. I did the headlights they came out good, Im gonna do them again on Monday. I know they can come out better. What grit sandpaper do u think I should go with?

And dont worry about it, I figured u were busy thanks though.

Did you mean you could mix it for me? lol I was confused by that. Id love to do the piping redfire still, not gonna lie. I like how it came out but its all black I think the redfire would look sick. I guess its just my taste

Everyone has their own little way they like to sand and buff things...pretty much what youre doing with the headlights. Personally I flat out hate to buff. For example id rather spend 2 hours sanding and an hour buffing than an hour sanding and 2 hours buffing. With that being said id personally hit them with some 2k, then some 3k trizact, then hit them with a buffer and theyll buff right out in no time at all. Youll spend more time sanding with the higher grit paper BUT you wont have to worry about sand scratches and when you buff it theyll buff right out in a couple passes with a good compound.

Yea, just gotta let me know how many oz's you need (couple oz should do you). Its higher end **** w/o a doubt, ill give you more info in a pm.

Aright cool, I went 800-1000grit...oops. Ill do more monday.

And cool dude thanks I appriciate that. whenever you get a chance to mix it let me know. You could do the redfire (color of the car) that would be sick. I wont just giv u money for shipping. Ill throw you some more. Just let me know whenever u get a chance...no rush

Thanks guys. I like the pony, the IC piping is good imo, but now it just seems like way to much black under there...thatll change very soon :D

jayman - Yup its a gloss black. I sanded it, I did 2 coats of primer, and 4 coats of gloss black, the last coat was really wet (not runny though) and it looks awesome imo.

dcook - Thanks dude, I think it looks a lot cleaner.

dienasty - lol no **** huh? No way would I do that...unless I had a Cobra lol
