So here latle i have been hearing a little poping going on in the backend when slowing down. Could this be the rearend going out?
bingo.Could be related to your links to the rear axle too. The bushings and bolts to the LCAs and UCAs. I have a small clunk/pop in my rear on take off, but I haven't gone and looked at it yet.
hmm alrigth guys thank you for all the help you all are alwase a big healp to evreyone.
Have you checked out your u-joints lately??my rear pops and clunks on start, stop, and sometimes every shift (if im being lazy while shifting) its actually kinda similar to the popping a lot of us experience from the front end on heavy braking (front control arm bushings being worn out) needless to say i have uppers and lowers ready to go on the rear end, and contemplating whether i want 03/04 cobra front control arms, or a tubular k![]()
mine does this!! its like a whine noise and it kinda sounds like a tire rubbing but i know they arent. what was wrong with your rear end with this? Are you getting any noise out of the rear end when you turn hard to one side or the other? That's what i was getting when mine needed attention.
u-joints are good. frpp al. driveshaft.Have you checked out your u-joints lately??

When this happened to me I replaced the control arms top and bottom because the bushings were toast..Could be related to your links to the rear axle too. The bushings and bolts to the LCAs and UCAs. I have a small clunk/pop in my rear on take off, but I haven't gone and looked at it yet.
