Was up guys!! I finally started my build!!!:D

Tokico HP's all around
Upr front C/O
MM CC plates
Qa1 K member and arms
Super King Clutch
Rear Sportlines
Ford Gt pump
Hurst STS
On3 turbo kit

I have already ran into some trouble with the k-member, the two bolts that hold the swaybar and the k member are too long!! and the top nuts that hold the a-arm to the k member are too wide!! I thought all of the stock bolts were supposed to fit fine.

I'll post up pics in a bit. Any help is more than welcome!!

Im gonna try to get all the suspension done by tomorrow!!

Soooooo happy!! Ive been collecting parts for a while now and its finally coming along!!!!!!

Thanks in advance!!!!!:D:D:D

Sorry I can't provide any help, I have never installed a tubular K-member, however that's a great list of parts and can't wait to see everything installed. I wish you nothing but good luck with your on3 kit, you've probably heard the negative feedback so I won't get into that lol. When all is said and done she ought to be a beast, keep us updated!

Ive heard pretty good things with On3 for the past few months now. Like the link I posted, that guy didn't run into 1 issue as far as fitment, or bolts or whatever. Ive heard some other good things from people on other forums, I think its mustangforums.com

i have the kit and it is the worst piece of jap metal ive wasted my money on, but then again mines a trake car for wut ur doing it might be great i do wish u good luck, cuz ur gona need it
I just want a fun car bro, if I had 6k+ to drop into a hellion kit I would...

UPDATE...

Got the k member and arms mounted. I went to napa and got the two bolts I needed for the sway bar.

For the bolts that went to the arms we just shaved a piece off the nut with an angle grinder and it went right in!!

Started to work on the CC plates but got rained out! Hopefully we will pick it up tomorrow afternoon after work.

Im working ont the pics =)

Is this a track only car? The reason i ask is because i saw the great deal on those K members then saw a lot of people saying it was not very beefy and wouldn't be ideal for street use. So i contacted QA1 and they said the exact thing that abuse for cornering and pot holes etc. would take a toll on it.

Na bro, i just drive it on the weekends. It wont actually see any track time, mainly because Memphis motorsports park shut down :(. Hopefully it will hold up just fine :)

Here are some pics =)...

There is a lot of bad S/C mustangs out there man.

Ran into another problem with the dang k-member. The stock bolt that goes into the a-arm did not fit in the qa1 a arm, fine thread:mad:.

So i'll run to the hardware store tomorrow and try to find the right one.

I did get the dust boot out of the struts and mocked the C/O, hopefully i'll mount them tomorrow :D

Wierd how its like a hit or miss with these things? Some people have no fitment issues, some have some. Good luck man!

Why? Nothing against you, but your Turbo is making 22psi and 336awhp. I know the stock Evo turbos are pretty whimpy, but a s/c Mustang can perform just as good a turbo stang.

I will agree though, theres something about a Turbo that is sick. If I had the money, I absolutley would have bought a single turbo setup. Too expensive though.

I know bro. Luckily its only minor things! Thanks bro!!
Yea for sure, I hope it stays like that too. I dont see you having any fitment issues with the piping or anything like that, just a few things from the K-member swap...keep us posted man
