Then make it a law that you have to roll down your front windows as soon as you get pulled over.
Which works great, unless it's 115 degrees outside... or 10 below... or raining... or you're not sure if it's a legit officer... or if you're actually asserting your rights against improper search and seizure...

I really don't get why it's so hard to stay legal.

Because it's so hard to look good!!

Haha, just kidding. Seriously though I want to tint my windows so my interior doesn't absolutely bake in the summer. I don't know how people in southern states go WITHOUT tinted windows. Here in IA my interior gets over 130* on a sunny summer day.

I forgot my iPod on my passenger seat one day and the sun coming through the windows fried it. Won't charge, won't load music, won't re-set, etc. Once I get my new seats, I don't want them fading either.

I bought the car already tinted and I went to get a inspection today, went up

there and he walked out looked at my car. Went back in grabbed his tint meter

and put it on my window and said....your tint is too dark. Good thing was he

didnt charge me just said go get it fixed and bring it back. Legal tint is 25% on

DS and PS door windows, mine was 8%. It looks good but now im having to

pay 100 bucks for it to be re tinted. Sorry just had to vent.
wow where the hell do you live, in Detroit they dont give a F

If I do get a ticket or fail inspection they are either goin to re do the job or im getting 104 bucks worth of ass woopin.
Not if you don't have it in writing. I'm sure they have a "Customer is soley liable to ensure legality of any customization performed" clause in their work orders.

They may change their mind once they receive a letter from the Better Business Bureau....had a shop do me wrong once and the letter from the BBB got them to make it right. Im not worried about it.
