true. I just posted the AM link as reference. Not saying thats THE kit to go with but just as a reference as to what else is needed over a "kit".

and i dont believe it NEEDS a tune either. I would think the colder plug would be nice to help against detonation. fuel pump too perhaps.

<-- actually has Nitrous. repping the 100 shot.

Things i'd suggest.
-Zex kit - not the best but not the worst kit. Its easy to get parts for.
-Bottle openers are nice, but arent needed
-Bottle heater is something that i'd say is a need. Because you need to keep the bottle at optimal pressure to avoid intake blowing up or bottle blowing up.
-Purge, not nessary but unless you want nitrous in the lines at all times i'd get it.
- window switch is very nice to have. You can select whar gears you don't want to spray in and what rpms you want the bottle feeding. not nessary though
- Get a nitrous gauge so you know what your bottle pressure is.(i have autometer electric one so I can read it without going to the bottle.)

Colder plugs are something to ease the mind but arent really needed
Lower your timing for nitrous 1-2 degrees since your running stock pump. I'm doubting you'll go higher then 100 pills

A dyno tune isn't needed. But i'm getting one cause i'd rather be safe then sorry.

Thanks for the info. Is the 100 shot everything you expected when you first used it as far as power gains felt? I would like to get a dyno tune but I can't find a dyno close to where I live so i'm in a tight spot when it comes to that.

Also, the reason why you want purge IS TO GET THE UNNESSARY AIR OUT OF THE LINES. So when the management system starrts spraying it spray nitrous not air.

+1

it can be done, but recommended

I just went to American Muscle and placed all the available options in the cart to get a final price. It came out to over $1200. I'm gonna keep an eye open for a used kit to come up for sale. Maybe I can luck up on a good deal.

I buy all my **** locally.. I think i've paid close to 3000 (Canadian pricing) On every single thing in my :garage:
Thats not a bad price for all of that stuff. Our local craigslist sucks unless you like buying factory parts for a pickup truck.

initial bang for your buck it's good. 12/hp approx.

where it's going to cost you is for your bottle refills.

i've had kits on the same car for 30k miles and 2yrs since i know baker helps alot of ppl ill make u guys a video of how i ran things and a bunch of options of where to run things 2morrow and pm baker the youtube link

if your buying new, basic kit is all you will need specially now that we r in summer. later on when u have extra cash you can get a bottle heater. i live in florida and have not had one once.

you dont need a purge either after a burnout do a high rev clutch drop on nitrous and let it roll out a bit to get the air out john force style keeps u more stealth

i would invest in a nice switch and i would really recommend a steeda mgw or pro 5.0 shifter missing shifts is your enemy with nitrous it is what causes back fires when you hit your rev limiter

anyways i will make the video 2morrow morning and send it to ya

What does that in bold mean? I'm sure it would take me a long time for the refills to add up to a whole lot. I don't race much and don't plan to use the spray very much. I'm sure the first filling won't last long though. :lol How much does it normally cost to fill a 10lb bottle?

Thanks alot! I would really appreciate to see your setup since I plan to make mine as stealthy as possible. I was hoping that their was a way I could bypass the need for a purge since I don't want anyone in my area knowing that I have this kit installed. I do have a steeda shortthrow shifter installed in my car.
