A Photo A Day Thread

This was taken 20 minutes ago in my back yard, pitch black outside, so I tested my flash work, and tried to soften the light as well as keep shadows to a minimum. I think I nailed it, and got it as just my second shot with those tools.

580ex on 7d, bounced the flash in through the 580's diffuser and white card. They are upside down hanging flowers of some f'n sort. I dunno what they're called, wife put that **** back there.

Stunningly masterful night work right there if I've ever seen it. Don't know what that flower is either, just know you captured it very well.

Incredible emay.

Here is one I just snapped while sitting at my desk. This drink is atrocious, by the way.

I played with the MF a little bit. Shutter speed was 1/30 and I had F2.6 (dunno what that is... aperture?) ISO 800. With a Canon PowerShot A570 IS with 4X zoom and 7.1 mega pixels. I need to upgrade.

My coffee almost shot all over my monitor ahahaha! I've never seen such beauty in the form of Hawaiian Punch :D

hmmm I am kind of happy with how this turned out. Pitch black room. It seems the charge light on my laptop made a faint glow though on the stop of the watch...

2 second exposure, ISO 80, F2.6.

At first it was terrible with the ISO at 1600, then I refined it to this.



Oh, and many thanks for the compliments on what I call "A Hawaiian Disaster"

Went to a rooftop party in Zushi, and the sunset was kinda nice so I took a few pics.
