well i plan on buying everything new lol along with an IW 10% od crank pulley (400$ just for the crank pulley) and a new rr pully for a procharger is 175$

you can buy all the new pulleys you want. Ill go ahead and keep getting the "used" ones for 1/8th of the price. ;) A RR pulley doesnt really "go bad". lol. Just gave 80 bucks for bob's. Bought another for 60 before. Sold it on ebay for DOUBLE that. lol.

lol pretty much all n/a gt's are slow as dog piss...(for a built motor)

dude on here that put down the highest n/a power i have seen still only ran mid 11's! lol and that was built to the max with a stalled auto and weight reduction, etc, etc, etc

you really are funny. what do most built n/a gt's run, low 12's? lol

blower will make quite a bit more power
n/a GT run 12's on a built motor? stock long block GT's go mid 12's, stock short blocks can get in the 11's. it doesnt matter the short block, the h/c/i is the key to making power. if the guys that are running 12's with a "built" either have stock top end or bad driving.

I don't think anyone is gonna argue that a 4.6L 2v can be made fast in any trim whether that be N/A, FI, or Nitrous. There have been N/A 2vs in the low 10s which is way faster than the average blower new edge LOL

so how much can i pay you to put together an 8 rib kit for me lol

Right now a have the P1SC at 10psi putting down 450rwhp on a dynojet. Im really considering upgrading the headunit. I know procharger will upgrade the headunit if sent to them but dont know the price. Anyone know?

i think the will upgrade a p1 to a d1 for about 1200 bucks. CRAZY!!! I sold my p1 headunit for 650 and bought a fresh rebuilt with tags, polished D1 for 1000. Thats a 350 dollar upgrade. Bob ended up spending 400 i believe for the upgrade by selling his p1 and buying a d1.

yep it's around $1,000 for the D1 upgrade through procharger. absolutely ridiculous. i believe the only difference is the impeller blade, so if you could pick one of those up you could do the upgrade yourself. there are write ups on here of people doing their own supercharger rebuilds.

superchargerrebuilds.com offers a "d1sc like" impeller. But they are called stage 1, 2, and 3 impellers. Stage 3 impeller looks WIKID!!!

The d-1sc is a completely different blower from what procharger says. It's not just an impeller swap.

"CAN BE" yeah with a crap load of stuff! like i said, guy on this forum with the highest n/a power i have seen still only ran mid 11's! and thats balls to the walls!

there is a vid of a stock longblock blower car running mid 11's...and thats with way less stuff...jmo..

not saying they can't be fast...but sure gonna take a lot more time and money to get it there...sure the built gt's CAN hit 11's but i rarely see them out of the 12's! and honestly haven't seen better than the mid 11 without it being a race car

i'm sure that's what they say, but it's the same housing with the same 4:1 gear ratio. maybe they upgrade the bearings to ABEC 5 or 7, but other than that i don't see the differences. oh and the plate on top was D1SC instead of P1SC:p

yeah the housing and the same along with step up ration like Mello stated. The difference in the impellars thats all...all Prochargers run billet gears

Never thought it was that easy. You only swapped the headunit or did you have to buy other stuff?

no i bought it from someone else. You just have to search and keep an eye out for them. Bob bought his with a barely any miles on it i believe. Mine was rebuilt from procharger with the tag and invoice. I bought it from him someone on corral with 0 miles. Just have to hunt them down. Simple swap of the headunit is all thats needed. Same bracket, etc.
