So far I have a 427 cube big bore short block on order.

To which I will be adding my 225 cc CHI heads and intake (after some port work)

And adding this to the mix :) D1SC with 12-rib set up and renegade bracket, 3 core intercooler, and a few other goodies.

Just say yes to carbs!

I was gonna go with the 427 stroker but i believe it requires the use of a small base circle cam & the choices on them are slim plus they twist quite a bit more.. I was also directed away from the 427 by DSS because they said due to the extreme rod angle its not a good choice 4 a big power combo do I went with their Super Pro Bullit 408 with block unassembled.. I could not be happier.. I hope what u hve works 4 you man. Just passin on what DSS told me..

Thats sweet, wish I had the $ to build something that rediculous, someday though. Liter bikes and supras better look out. Good luck with the build and keep us updated.

I live like an hour away from DSS, they are not the end all be all of engine building...but that is another story.

427 in this case = 4.125 bore siamesed dart block with a 4" stroke. Wiseco custom pistons, GFX metric ring package, 6.2 H-beam rods with a chevy big end arp-2000 hardware, 4340 crank with cleveland 2.75 main jounal size, main studs and windage tray (no girdle). Internally balanced. Will see the high side of 7500 rpms. Will not require a small base circle cam, but rather will be using a relatively tame solid roller bump stick.

Depending on what rod DSS uses these days, it may actually have less rod angle than your 408, but that really isn't much of a concern to me. Rod angle doesn't really mean much. People are taking these dart blocks well past 460 cubes with good luck.

LOL, raced a 500 hp supra from a roll the other night and stayed in front of him the whole way without having to dip into the spray as it is :D

Yeah Ryan, just wondering i cant remember if your new project has 3.73 gears like your LX did. IF so whats the top end like with that new combo in the GT like? I have to imagine its pretty sick to beat a 500HP Supra:cool: nice work.

What are your expectations when ya get the new setup all hooked up? Sounds awesome man, good luck!

Btw what Tranny are you running?

It's not a track only car, not really super concerned with numbers. It already runs 10s. So I am sure 9s should be easily reachable.

A5 gear set, 26 spline input, G-force mainshaft, solid shift lugs, billet bearing retainer and cluster support, soft hitting clutch and aluminum flywheel and no powershifting.

It will live just fine at 1000 hp.

Astro rates them at 650 hp for drag use.
