im thinking about getting a supercharger or selling my car and get a GT

what do you guys think i should do

whats results in rwhp will i get with 7-11 psi vortech or procharger kit in my 2003 v6

i would just get a gt. you get better bang for your buck plus you get a v8. not putting down the sixer, duh i have one but when i go to college in a few years im getting a gt.

gts 99-04 are about 230 rwhp and our 6ers are about 160rwhp. With a blower you would be looking at like 280 rwhp on at 10psi I beleive.

that 280 rwhp will the rebuilt 7.5 rear end take that much or break

after i sell my mustang i would need around 3,000-3,500 to buy a GT

that is why i am stuck between getting a GT or just supercharge the v6

the rear will go eventually....especailly if you launch hard and often

if you havent put in money on the 6, I would get a gt. And the 7.5 rear is breaks at differnt points, its more luck. Some people have almost 400 at the wheels and are still cooking on a built 7.5

Wheels, exhaust , tailights headlights , rear bumper and more
well the whells you can always swap or grab a cheap pair off of craiglist and move your wheels to a gt. just a thought. But if you want to stick with your car I dont blame you

a 99-04 gt can gain hp ratings of about 402hp/400tq at the flywheel with a polished vortech supercharger at am. thats not rwhp though thats more around the mid 300's plus roughly. if you get a gt then you will be putting more money into it. and from what i have heard and seen i prefer vortech.

i would still get a gt. the money you would put into getting your sixer super charger ready isnt worth it. i would rather have a bone stock gt like a 01 lets say then a supercharged v6. you could put a cai, gears, t-lok, exhaust, and so on and for the same money your v8 will be just as fast, and have a v8

If I had to chose between a s/c v6 or a bone stock GT...

I'll pick the quicker car always, sound doesn't do anything for me.

Look at it like this. Besides this

A v6 that say runs 12 seconds in the 1/4 mile is far more impressive than a gt that does.

It is really up to you.
As far as cost goes, it is going to cost your roughly the same amount of money to mod both to around the same speed. For 4k swap a turbo on and be at 350+to wheels same 4k on a gt would get you maybe 370-430.

It is up to you. You just need to figure out what will work for you best in the long run. What will be cheapest?
