plastic piece of ****??? yet you are talking about putting a 50 cent sticker instead that has air bubbles all in it? Are you for real? lol

Ive had nothing but props on mine and would not go with a sticker ever. The panel has a spot for the emblem to go and everything. Its made for that spot and you say it looks like a piece of **** and he should go with a sticker? lol
i havent seen one in person so i could be wrong, but from all the pictures ive seen, it doesnt look great... I guess it could be that i dont like honeycomb patterns, but nontheless. the OP told us he didnt like the honeycomb one, and i was giving my 2 cents.

and this "50 cent sticker" is very reasonable instead of the "$150 piece of plastic". For the air bubbles, the ones that you cannot remove, will not be noticeable.
:lmao its bc vinyl is "ftw", and with vinyl you still have a ghetto hardline
Id still use vinyl over paint in case you ever change your mind and decide you dont like it anymore... with paint your ****ed...
$30 vs $150?

vinyl is "ftw". lol.
:yes

it wins you a mirror because it is so damn shiny you can see yourself in it! :gay
i guess youll think my car is gay, cause ive got the gloss vinyl for the lower insert, but it looks ****ing sick in person, and i get complements for this **** all the time...

honestly it doesn't look complete man

everything on my car is from rocky mountain. i didnt like the look of the honey comb panel and how far they stuck out. i couldnt be happier with the way mine looks and if you no how to lay graphics, you wont get air bubbles.

my point exactly. i have no air bubbles on any of the vinyl ive added to my car... applying vinyl is not hard at all... just a little time consuming... if you take your time, your good to go

Yeah the honeycomb just doesn't work for me. If they made that style kit with smooth satin black pieces, I'd be a lot more interested. I prefer the flush look of the vinyl though.

The stuff from rockymountain looks pretty tits, and as far as application goes, I got to spend some time at a graphic shop with my last job, so I've seen it done many times. I even have one of the special little squeegees they use. I think ill be alright as long as I take my time to line it up and use plenty of soapy water so it doesn't stick before I want it to.

On a side note: I always thought FTW meant **** The World?

ftw = fpr the win... hahahaha

just follow these directions and youll be good

Use isopropyl or rubbing alcohol to wash all wax and dirt from surface of car.
Make a wetting solution. (water with a drop of dish soap) Use a spray bottle
Peel off the backing of the sticker
Spray the wetting solution on area that you plan on placing the vinyl sticker, as well as the vinyl itself.
Position the stripes where you want them. Take a step back to eye up the alignment.
Use a squeegee to rub over the top of the sticker, to help get all of the water out and to help adhere the sticker.
Check your work the next day. If you find air bubbles, pierce them with a pin and gently work the air out of the area with your squeegee.
To ensure a permanent bonding, allow at least 72 hours in direct sunlight before washing or waxing.

Hit em with a heat gun real quick to warm up the glue, then get some dental floss or fishing line behind there and 'saw' the glue away from the paint. When you get them off, clean the excess off with goo gone or a prep solvent. To re-attach, you'd probably have to get some new trim tape from a parts store. It would also probably be a good idea to take some measurements of where the stock emblems are placed in relation to the edges of the truck to ensure proper alignment upon reattachment.
