lol i know this kid who had a acura and he hooked some kinda turbo fan with a turbonator in the intake and some other sh** and it was so ghetto rigged with zipties. hahaha

LOL I saw a Civic with a leafblower as the turbo once.
Leafblowers are actually pretty legit. If done correctly they can have a decent horsepower increase but at the end of the day there's still a leaf blower in your intake.. lol

Well.. I guess the "more air" would be the only benefit.

Saying it's a supercharger or turbo, is the biggest hoax I've ever heard of. And I agree, teens with ricers will buy anything.
 
In theory it works. I do remember reading where they did attach a leaf blower to some car and it was actually making power. Not gobbs of it but it was making power.

On the GMC, the leafblower made it put down an additional [almost] 15rwhp. Everyone may say ricers may do it (and I wouldn't do it to my car), but I've seen lots of people on here spend a LOT more money on a performance mod and the result is less power than the leafblower. Just something to think about.
