10 isn't low boost for a street car. It's a mid level range.

A better powerband with a Precision, less psi for the same power. ect.

I would do some research before you insult people.
Not for a street car, a stock block. The power he's making on that stock block put's it into questionable territory. With a good tune it may live, or it may split. These roller 302s are pretty weak as far as stock blocks go. Small main webbing and 2 bolt mains.

6K was suggested to me and it's been holding with about the same rear wheel you have for many years so far. Sucks because my peak HP is at the rev limiter. I know there's more but don't want to push it.
how did it run in the 1/4 (your car) and what are your predictions for mine?

you are dumb... he's about, he pretty nuch is maxed out on such low boost. What on gods green earth would a precision do for him? Go get ur 2v running.
****** trying to sell him **** is why, dolla dolla bills ya'll

Dam! I guess the haters will always hate.

FYI I have been down this road MANY times before. I've only had the car 2 months and when I bought it, it had an automatic and stock 302 in it. I have spent alot of time and money getting it where it is. I'm happy with it and to each his own.
haha, chill man. where in the hell did I say anything hateful?

i was pointing out the OBVIOUS of this build. period.

everyone knows 450-550hp is the danger zone... period.

It sucks, I know, Because I dont have the money for another block, but I want to spray the hell out of this motor, so It sucks for me too. Doesn't mean Im knocking you car.

The only thing I dont like about the car is the B.S. cam you decided to leave in there, when its really not that hard to swap out. you probably would have had a MUCH better powerband with a STOCK cam.

So, no, no hate coming from me. I think its an awesome build. I'm just not the type to ignore the obvious issues.

I forgot to mention that we kept the msd box in the spot everyone told me to move it from....it's actually mounted over the hole in the fender where the old CAI went. We have been monitoring the heat on it with a laser and it is reading from 120-180.

I called MSD and they said that was an excellent spot and the unit is designed to take heat well over 200 degrees and should be mounted under the hood in a place it can get good air.

Just thought I would share that.

LOLOLOL! Yes, and they saw my pic...like I said, I have been monitoring the heat on it and today after a good romp, I popped the hood and hit it with the laser and it read 165...the headers on the other hand were 650 degrees!
