Anyone ever use one? How was it? User friendly?
engine management advanced tuning would be my best guess....just sayingOk, i want to learn how to tune. I dont want to take the easy way out. I understand i will have to read and learn alot, but im up for that. what is the engine management advanced tuning about?
The title tells it, but there is a bit more too it as well. It takes you through the theories behind tuning and demonstrates the methods that the author has developed over his years of experience as a calibrator. He is currently a OEM Calibration Engineer for GM, but he also runs advanced tuning classes for Ford and GM. I recently went to his Advanced class in Florida at SCT's facility. It was worth ever penny ($1500).Ok, i want to learn how to tune. I dont want to take the easy way out. Thanks for the info. i have the basics down, but im sure theres a lot more i have to learn! im just confused as to how i get it setup once i do get it. from what your saying ill be able to download a tune someone has uploaded to the net to start with? or i have also heard part of the program is where it will set up a base tune for you once you enter the specs of your engine and vehicle. any info on that?No problem. Your going to love QH. There is actually a lot of support for QH online (Not through moates) and a lot of guys run it. There are actually a lot of strategies you can download off the net that will get you really close to where you need to be. So you don't have to do a lot of legwork from the get go. I am actually going to be tuning a SN95 cobra with a single turbo on QH here in the very near future. He is currently running a stratedgy he downloaded off the net and I was suprised at just how close it is already! It needs some drivability tuning but it is damn near dead nuts on at WOT.
