I didn't know JT was doing that either...but anyway, internals will be fine for what you want. If you ever actually do it. But the crankshaft is nothing you need to worry about, nobody's ever hurt one. And internals also include the connecting rods, which are actually the weak point. You could get by with rods and piston rings and make pretty good power as long as you get a good tune and keep an eye on the vital signs.

I might get new rods, but I'm going to try to get some hyper eutectic pistons with some good rings. But I do agree, the rods are weak.

What turbo is in the 1800 kit?
I will definitely buy it soon after I get forged internals and a gt rear end.
I hope it will end up costing me under 3k for an entire set up.

My goal is low end streetable power around 300-330 trq, and I a going to have to be able to install it myself

lol yeah. well, i have a friend with a gt whose rear end broke. The car was slightly modded. Then my cousin with a supercharged gt runs a stock rear end. And he has hoosier tires, so he hooks up pretty quick lol.

EDIT: heres a pic of his car.
