I picked up a Eaton m90 supercharger off of a Pontiac GTP. I was wondering if anybody every got one of these to work on a 2valve GT. I was thinking of just making brackets for the supercharger and "plumb" it in. Any suggestions would be great! thanks

there is many forums on this on how it wouldnt even be worth it to put it on because the lack of power it would produce for the price of the dollar. After you get it on and spend alot of money to do it it wouldnt be your best bang for your buck

Yeah I don't think those fit our cars at all. An M112 like from a 03/04 Cobra will fit, but for the price of the conversion kit and everything you might as well get an intercooled KB and have a nice blower instead of a hot ass Eaton that is basically maxed out at 500 rwhp.

^^^^^tb will be facing the fire wall, plus its a small blower for the 4.6.

Yes its obvious that the manifolds dont match at all, I was gonna fab up a "change over" with the bottom side being the ford plenum pattern and top side being the pontiac supercharger pattern. Then just add some brackets for support. It's worth a shot even if it doesnt make the most power it would be fun to make it work.

If you're gonna "fab" up something might as well "fab" something up for the Eaton M112. You're going to bust a mission and probably waste money on a ineffective piece of equipment. If you really want to go with twin screw and want to have fun tearing things apart and trying to adapt them then go with the M112. But even then :( . Did you pick it up for free?

I got a really good price for it so I figured its worth a little work before I give up and sell it. How much do m112 run for and are they easy to find used. If I get this to work I would have a kit for a very good price to horsepower ratio.

Fixed

They are like $200-$300 used and they're pretty easy to find on SVTPerformance. I'd just sell that M90 and pick up the M112

If you find an Eaton kit of an 03-04 cobra, you'll be looking at a minimum $1500, and I mean everything you would need to install it on a 4v motor. Now, in your case, if you have the money to invest on the swap, you definitely have the money to get a 4v because that's how much you're going to spend on the swap. It just won't happen.

No... they make adapter kits to make the M112 fit the 2v
I never said it wouldn't fit. I said it wouldn't be worth it. Hence, buying a kit to make it fit....

I'm in Tampa, if you want we can meet and talk bs about it, or you can call Josh Levin at Levin Motorsports in Clearwater, he can help you out. But trust me, I went through the GT fever and just wasted money.

Tell me about it. I purchased a 3.4 whipple and before I put it in I decided to go turbo, so now the Eaton kit is coming off my car, but I think my tuner is buying it from me basically for labor credit. Those eatons had a good run for sure.

Me too, but seriously, that's what it means. I will miss the whine when that turbo goes in, but I won't miss the 500 horses since I'll have a couple hundred more... so sad!
