It is actually really a glaze with very fine abrasives for added cleaning.

I have not heard much about Orange Crush but I have heard very good things about Supernatural. And I believe Zat just bought himself a can of it, so I would say go with Supernatural.

Here is my current shopping cart because it is time for me to wax my car so I'm going the whole nine yards and claying/polishing/sealant
Blackfire Wet Diamond with Polycharger - 16 oz | Detailed Image

Good choice. Blackfire is my go-to sealant for almost everything other than DD cars. However if its a GOOD condition DD, it also gets Blackfire. It, imo, is the perfection combination of price, gloss, ease of use, and durability. Its not overly expensive but its not cheap. You will love it.

Lake Country Red Foam Applicator Pad | Detailed Image

I personally did not like that applicator. I threw mine away as soon as they started getting caked. They are hallow on the inside to make them "look" thick. A regualr thin foam applicator is way better and cheaper.

Lake Country Black Finishing Pad - 4 inch | Detailed Image

That pad is used for a machine. If your not buying a machine yet, don't get it.... unless you want to donate to my detailing collection...

DI Accessories Sheepskin Wash Mitt | Detailed Image

Good choice. Same mitt I use.

Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish (with Glaze fillers) - 16 oz | Detailed Image

I personally have not tried this so I can not comment on it. Personally, based on the description, I doubt you will see any correction out of it going my hand. A better alternitave would be to use M205 by hand (if you must) followed by something like Chemical Guys EZ-Cream or Poorboy's Blackhole... or even that.

DI Microfiber All Purpose Towel - 16" x 16" | Detailed Image

I would reccomend PakShak's towels over DI's. They are good, but more expensive than PakShak.

now here is where im stuck. Should I go with this Dodo Juice Orange Crush Soft Wax - 30 ml | Detailed Image or this? Dodo Juice Supernatural Wax - 250 ml | Detailed Image
Honestly, if you are going by hand and this is your beggining to detailing, don't buy a high end to mid grade wax yet. If you really want to top the Blackfire with a nuba wax then get something cheaper to learn with. Natty's Red wax is a good starting point. Its about $20. If you just REALLY want the Supernatural, buy the 30ml sample pot before buying the big one.

I have a sample pot of it on the way, and I plan to do a good review on it and compare it to Blackfire using my hood as the test subject.

As far as the towels go, I'm just getting this to add to my cheap towel collection. I plan on purchasing some of pakshaks. And if I get the blackfire polish, should I get one of the lake country hand polish applicator pads or should I use a normal foam applicator?

Honestly, if your don't want to purchase any towels atm then why polish? Polishing by hand is going to be hard enough as it is to get any good results. That combined with buffing the residue with cheap towels makes it nearly pointless....

Atleast buy 2-3 towels at a bare min. You need roughly 15 rags at a min. I personally have 12 towels for buffing was, sealant, and polish. I then have 6 towels for QDing, 1 towel for drying, and an assortment of other cheap towels for engine bay, interior, windows, ect.

So would I go clay, blackfire wet diamond, ez creme, then wAx
  1. Wash
  2. Dry
  3. Clay
  4. Polish
  5. Glaze
  6. Seal (sealant)
  7. Wax
  8. Beer
  9. samwhich
  10. sleep
  11. PICS!

DI towels are not cheap they are quality towels just keep them washed with MF detergent.
Also if your going to get a wax to top over BFWD might as well make it Blackfire Midnight Sun as they are made to work together.

Never said they were cheap hehe, just expensive. Any wax will bond on top of BFWD tho...

Ok and which pads for the polish?
If your doing it by hand, just your regular foam applicator. Special pads are for machines.

Yeah I made a whole new list and added the mf detergent
Whats your list?

that post was in reply to gerbig post sorry for the confusion man:) And I agree you can put any wax over it i put natty blue over it but it was hard to remove that one time not sure why. I waited more than eight hours after applying bfwd.

Gerbig you can get the polishing pal and use the 4" lake country pads with it that what its made for to hand polishing with the spot pads. Might want to try the 4" surbufs or the 4" lake country hydro techs with M205 to get the best results by hand. Also ask Zat to hook you up with the discount code pm him.

I did not know that you could use the 4" pads with that... learn something every day.

The blue pad is for waxing, not polishing... check this sticky out that I made:

The 10% discount code from their Facebook page is RMN10

Ahh ok. No idea why the Natty's was hard for you to remove. Maybe you accidently got it a bit to thick or waitted a bit to long to buff it off?

Now, as for your cart. The only problem I see:

16x16 All Purpose Towel --- Don't use the All Purpose Towel for your paint if you are getting th DI Towels. Get their mid-range towel.
DI Microfiber Ultra Plush Two Sided Towel - 16" x 16" | Detailed Image

Let us know how the Purple Haze wax works... I hope the Supernatural lives up to it's claims.

Also, buy a Brinkman Swirl Finder light and ship it to me.......... what?

yeah i looked a little more and replaced the mf towels with those ones. and I'll let you know on the purple haze and you let me know on the supernatural.

So I should get a white pad for the polish and the blue for the BFWD?
