Unless the A/C was broken anyways or you need to squeeze every drop of performance out of your car then I would just keep it. I pulled mine because it was broken and would've cost an arm and a leg to fix. Since I was tracking the car I didn't really need A/C. That's what my DD is for!!!

i want the power (even if its 1hp), want to loose the weight, want the times, etc. i have shaved about 150lbs so far, and still going. the car will eventually go low 9's on this motor if i keep it as well.

so this is why i have such a stupid debate in my head. its worth it to me to keep it and ditch it. it worked fine last time i drove it, but its been a long while since i even thought about driving. it.

well if your going for times and such and no one that rides in it cares. I guess ditch it. I would but I love mine to much lol I will ditch the ABS tho

lol summer dont bother me. the reason for wanting to do it now is because i am prepping car for paint and want to get things finalized so i dont have to worry bout messing the paint job up after i am done.

I say take it out due to the lack of it making the car much easier to work on under the hood (thats why I deleted mine), the small weight loss doesn't hurt either.
also if 9's are in the future (& you want ther car to be legal) all the saftey equipment required along with the cage will pretty much end the cars "date" use anyway.

I was speaking about running 9's legal, the 6pt is good for now.

Get rid of it i guess. Get rid of the airbags, ABS, rear seat, Front sway bar, Pass Seat, Pass headlight, Spare tire, jack, sound deadening in the trunk, MACH amp rack, And maybe the radio if you dont care. Move the battery to the back if you can make your own relocation kit, do an EGR delete to.

yeah, i will have to go to a full cage if i go with the next motor. i really starting to get the itch to break my old T/A out and start on it.
not to talk you out of a mustang, but I'd give some thought to the T/A, that's where your heart is anyway, why fight it?
we all bust balls about f-bodys, but if your into them, go for it.

alread done most of it.

jack, spare, mach rack, k-member rear seat delete (just for track) have been done for years.

sound deadener, stock front seats, cd player, battery relocation, stock fuel lines/emmisions, egr delete, etc are done now.

light weight lift off hood, coil overs, tubular bumpers, al d/s, and some misc items are on the way.

not much longer. i was about to start putting rotating assembly in, but realize i had no way to check clearances of bearings :( but i did manage to get almost everything done on the rear suspension. just few more holes to drill, some welding, and its ready. i will be painting in while its apart on jack stands so i dont have to worry about taking everything back off later when i would paint it.
