Kooks Headers Dyno Results for 2005-2010 Mustangs

I just wanted to drop in and let everyone know that we picked up Kooks Custom Headers and we're really excited about it! I don't want to turn this TOO much into a sales thread. I will say that we're glad to be selling such a high quality product. When it comes to exhaust, Kooks is the best in USA-made Stainless Steel headers.

We've done some preliminary testing for 2011 5.0L Mustangs. We've seen as much as 28RWHP, we'll be releasing more in-depth results very shortly.

2011 3.7L V6 Mustang owners, get ready! Kooks is in their first stages of working out a long tube header system for you. We're expecting gains to be very similar to the 2005-2010 mustang GT's, about 20RWHP naturally aspirated, and much much more with added power such as forced induction! We'll be following that development with Kooks, and they'll be available for pre-order as soon as we have a solid ETA.

2005-2010 4.6L 3V Mustang owners have been enjoying these headers for years. Below is a dyno graph of what to expect. This was done on a stock Bullitt with 93 octane and then the second run is the addition of Kooks 1 5/8" long-tube headers and catalytic x-pipe. Awesome results!

I said TOO much. :)

I was genuinely also trying to throw these dyno results out there, because alot of people are claiming WAY more gains than this. This was a nice, controlled before/after test done in the same day, same dyno, same car, within half a degree ambient, same SAE correction factor (.97), etc.

Sales pitch or not I appreciate the info. Still havent figured out everything on my build and everyone is always saying same day, same dyno, blah blah. So its nice to see REAL results.

i want kooks so bad, but soooo expensive. even with 6% off of 1200 =still expensive
but why is american muscle only selling kooks with x pipe combos, x pipe singles, and no standalone long tubes except for 2011?
very frustrating. i want a catted H-pipe :(

maybe since its a new item to american muscle it be good to have it at a huge discount on black friday :)

You can PM whoever for the discount code, we'll hook you up! I know Kooks are pricey, but there's a reason for it. USA T304 stainless steel (not imported stainless), all hand made right here in the US with american expert labor. They're mandrel bent, firecone collectors, huge 3/8" thick CNC laser-cut nickel plated flanges that are hand finished. They've got ball-socket leak proof flanges and when you go to install them, they fit like a glove. The clearance is amazing! Kooks is one set of headers you'll never have an issue with.

We'll be working on expanding our Kooks selection as time goes on. We wanted to make sure that the products would have no inventory control issues, and get the most popular parts added first.

We will probably end up selling the same combo kits that we have listed now, but with an H-pipe catted and off-road.

seriously though, 6% off $1300 i what, $1225? how about a 30% off kooks combos black friday sale. SOLD!!
