Here's a pic for you. Probably not the greatest since i took it with my phone.

And the flowtubes are just hanging there with muffflers attached? Or are. Cause if the mufflers aren't on, just kick the thing and call it a dumb whore the whole time. She'll learn her lesson. ;)

My dad got home from work and we cut the muffler off but part of the tube is still hanging there. so we went to menards and got an air chisel thing. It started raining tho... so idk what were gonna do now

Wow, i was thinking the tailpipe was stuck in the muffler. That fitting in the picture should fall right off. If not, id hit it perpendicular to the pipe about 3" away from the flange with a BFH. Make sure that the exhaust hangers on the back are not holding it in place first.

Tried it, tried it tried it. The chizel wouldnt even work because of the angle. We're retiring for the night since its raining... idk wtf else to do im ready to just cut the whole ****ing exhuast off and get headers and a mid pipe.

I tried it a few times till my dad caught me... then he yelled at me and said if you **** it up your paying for it... at which point i realized i dont have the money so i stopped. Tomorrow he wants to heat the **** out of it and try twisting it with a pair of those big dumb ass pliers

hahaha, if you can try to get vice grips, they work better.

just sayin', your pop's sounds like he has a broomstick up his ass, :2cents

I will. we're getting up early to work on it cause i have to work at noon... hopefully i can get the exhuast off, replaced, and a new brake line on and bleed the brakes before about 11 when i get in the shower... if not we'll get it done sunday since neither of us have to work

I say you shoulda left the length on there. Leverage is your friend in this situation. I woulda been shanking that thing in every direction. Up down side to side, and kicking the living hell outta it. Toss on some heavy rubber soled boots and go at it. Get a big deadblow hammer too. I doubt you're gonna bend anything with swift hard kicks like that.

Finesse isn't always the answer, and ya gotta use brute force and pound beers and curse a lot.

omg slob i agree with you so much, thats always how things end up going around here when me and my friend/his family are working on our cars together.
