I have a borla catback on the way and was wondering if I'll noticed a decent difference in sound?

If they are the Stingers it will sound much better, even with the stock H pipe.

I have the borla stinger system on my car and it is loud as hell! I love it...but if your going to get a mid-pipe, get an o/r x pipe. The borla system is more of a straight through style so it flows much better with an x pipe. Your going to fall in love the first time you hear it

I'll give a +1 to the Stingers. When I had them put on, it was paired up with an SLP catted X pipe. Then I put on the SLP longtubes and took the cats out of the mid. Talk about difference. Soooooooo mean.
I wanted to go with an h pipe but I've heard it sounds awesome with an x so I'll prob go with and x once I get more money

There is no rasp with Stingers. Whether you choose X or H, O/R or catted, Stingers sounds deep and mean. I think they are easily the best exhaust for these year Mustangs.

The stinger catback is full of win. HUGE difference even with the stock midpipe. My buddy with his 04 SY Cobra (i know its a 4v) put them on with the rest of the exhaust system stock and what a difference!

if you got magnapacks I will do a temp. trade with you.... I am thinking about switching my borlas for some magnapacks... (only because I have had my borla's for about 2 years now). If I trade and like the magnapacks enough... it would be a straight up trade with no money involved
