i want long tube headers for my 2001 mustang gt. it is manual.. im trying to get the most power and torque from them . does it make a diference wat headers i buy or are they all pretty much the same?
to my knowledge, there is no back order on the MAC headers as of right now.I have MAC LT on my Bullitt and I've installed BBK LT on a friends Cobra. The BBKs fit perfectly, but have a crimp in one of the primaries. I don't know if it affects power. The MACs also fit perfectly, but I had to clearance to starter to get it in behind the headers. FWIW, MAC's customer service is great. Also be prepared to wait about a month for them because both the MAC and BBKs were placed on backorder and it sounds like it is common.
lucky you. i put a set on papsmurfs car, and nothing but trouble. fitment was worse than almost anything else i have ever touched.i helped thereal2v2fear put some pypes brand longtubes on his car. fit good, didn't hit or rub anything. but if you get them do not use the studs that they send in the kit.
how was the fitment so bad on yours?to my knowledge, there is no back order on the MAC headers as of right now.

im looking into headers also what crimp are you talking about? Did you have to make that crimp or just the way they were designed?BBKs on mine, Fit nicely. DO have the crimp, I dont think it has any affect on the power though!
