i have a 94 mustang cobra, i just put a 308 with a e303 cam in it. when I have the car running and get the car warmed up, and turn it off, then start it, the car just shuts off, guy at ford said to put a new idel air control sensor and tps sensor on it and I did but still does it lol. i talked to someone today and they said the stock computer in my car is not set up for the cam i have, and that i have to put a msd box and fan rely swith on too. he said i have to get a computer out of a fox body mustang for it to work... is this true that i have to do all of this.. or does someone know what could be wrong? please help because i don't know what to do.

Thanks for your time, and help
Ron

Try the self test I posted up there somewhere. See if you come up with any codes before you buy a SCT chip.

The '94-'95 computers are a little tricky and yes the old fix was to switch to a fox body computer but with modern technology and Mustang tuner should be able to fix the problem. You can do this one of two ways, have a tuner actually put the car on a dyno and tune it, or you can list all of your mods and have a chip shipped to you.
