My basically stock (with SCT X3 87 octane tune) 2008 GT with auto trans will be needing tires at about the 25,000 mile mark. The Pirelli Nero Zero tires worked OK for me, but now's my chance to upgrade. The car is my daily driver: commuting to work and personal use. It has never seen a race track, however I do drive aggressively. Gas mileage in not a consideration. I will be keeping the stock 17" wheels. I live in central Florida; the car will never see snow.
Two questions:
1) What do you guys like for daily driver tires. What tires are to be avoided for DD use?
2) Should I change from the 235/55/17 size? I can't go too low because there are speed bumps in my neighborhood. My lowered one inch ZX-10R couldn't clear the speed bumps :+)
