You know that hitech stage 2 are extremely similar to comp 270s? They have identical intake lobes.

Anyways, the best n/a cam for our cars on the stock heads and bottom end are the CMS stage 2s and have been for years. They used to be the vt stage 2. And since they are a bit cheaper than the competition, I don't really see a down side.

Kboss have you dynoed yet? 1/4 mile? Im curious to how ill do... Fixing to have my cms stg 2's in with lt's and head porting

no i did not know that, maybe its just the fact that im at altitude, my car did 292hp corrected, but i could never get it it to trap over 97mph

Those are the cams I am going with until the vortech...Are the regrinds any good or should I get them new?
Regrind 2v cams tend to crack, which is why basically nobody else on the market does it. Everyone else starts with new billet steel blanks and grinds to their specs.

If money is an issue, then shop around for a used set of aftermarket cams. They are up for sale all the time on ebay and the forums and IMO would be much better than a set of regrinds.

Either of the two are gonna make good power. I like the CMS cam profiles. They offer good low-midrange torque while still delivering the peak power numbers that guys like to see on the dyno.

I'm going to swap to a CMS stage two in the very near future cause it will be a while before my car sees a blower again. Might as well have a decent set of cams in here for the mean time. After our member discount, a set of the CMS cams comes out to like $530 which is not a lot at all for brand new set of cams.
