Moved this for you. Can you give more details on your car please? Year, make, model, etc...

Also more description on the problem. Do you turn the key and absolutely nothing happens? Does it crank but not turn over? Does it crank, turn over, and then die? Details are key if you want any useful reponses.

If it doesn't crank, you probably have a bad starter. Also, check your wiring. Sometimes, when I start my car, it'll just click and everything dies. I just have to pop the hood and wiggle the wiring around. I should get that fixed soon, but I'm poor and lazy. Also, load test your battery. It might read 12v, but under load it might drop to 9 or worse. If it keeps on cranking over and over, I'd check out the fuel system. My Jeep did this and it just needed a fuel pump.

Hi hollis,

Your car is looking gorgeous and I have read your problem and want to say that I think problem might be in self because if your car’s battery and alternator work properly then last point is self machine. Another reason might be heater of your car if your car is heater started with heater. So I would like to suggest you to check you car to the mechanic.

All the best!

I have to ask, how do you know what his car looks like? He didn't post any pictures and there's nothing in his garage. Also, there's plenty of other it could have trouble starting instead of just alternator and battery.

But thanks for the free spam.
