Ahhh dang it i was hoping someone would say the couldnt get it close and just put it together and it was fine lol looks like i got more filing ahead of me. And WIHA5.0 thats a great idea in case you ever take it off again, i might do that while i am in there.
I didnt leave the pin in...I took it out when I was done but I dont see any reason why it couldnt be left in...

I had to grind the holes in the aftermarket K-Member where it mounted to the subframe on the front slightly in order to get it squared up perfectly. Like I said, more than likely, it was because my car has been in a front end collision before.

oh Im sorry...I didnt see that you were using an aftermarket piece or that your car had been hit in the front...in that case then yes a die grinder is your friend lol

Yeah im takin the stocker out for a UPR tubular one. On the front where did you guys drop the plumb lines at? In the back i got em coming off the control arm bolts and in the front i have them through the very back tab where the A-Arm bolt goes through, is that right?

Worked on it about 13hrs today and got a lot done, finally got the K square this morning and got it torqued in. The motor mounts were way off and had to use a huge pry bar and a bunch of ghetto riggin to get em in but got that too. A-arms are on and had to file the backside out of the aluminum spacers to get the ball joints tight. Steering rack was a B to get on, had to remove a Brass T i put on below the oil filter that my oil press and temp gauges go to and also had to take off my oil filter to slide the rack on. Dropped the rear and removed the springs, quad shocks, and upper control arms. All that is left on the front is to put the struts on and the wheels. Il finish up the front tomorrow morning and start on the rear tomorrow afternoon.

With all this new suspension do you guys think i will be able to be rolling in 1st and stomp it and not spin now? Before i started on it if the tires were cold it would spin 2nd from a roll by stomping it in 2nd on dry pavement N/A, it would be cool if it would hook in 1st now.

eh, tires are still a big part of the spin/not spin, but the suspension def helps with the cars geometry and weight transfer which also helps a lot in keep the tires planted.

is the axle in the car still? cut out the rubbers, beat the rest out, make a press using c clamps, get creative. if its out of the car, burn them out

Yeah its still under the car, ima try to hacksaw the back side off flush with the axle housing and beat out the rubber then beat the metal down to where it will come out i guess.

Mrbigjeep i got the UPR bolt upgrade kit so it came with new bolts so i couldnt tell ya what size they are, in the MM write it it shows they just cut a little off the stock bolts, im sure u could do the same.
