Yeah, it will be mounted to the front side of the tank cover, directly behind the diff. I'll snap some pictures when we mount it. The paint wouldn't dry fast enough to get it mounted the other day.

sorry but those pumps are complete garbage and fail all the time. numerous people i know go through tons of those pumps before switching to a better one like a magnafuel or a weldon.

Opinions are like assholes.... everyone has one. Question of the day. Did he install it correctly?
If he went thru three Eliminator pumps more than likely he was running it on the street. Was there a controller on it?
Was he running the wrong gas in the wrong pump? There is a difference in the red and black case pumps.

Oh BTW was it one friend or numerous people? When you first posted it was only one. When you make comments like that bring something to the table to back it up rather than a story.

I and a few heavy hitters who own businesses who deal with this as a living do not recommend those pumps for anything. Yes they were installed correctly because I installed them. the big problem with those pumps even with a driver they still heat up way above what they should be, aeromotive dropped the ball on that pump and I'm telling you from personal experience he's going to be replacing that pump sooner than later.

Look, I'm not here to piss in your cherios, I'm just trying to save the guy some grief down the road as it's not fun having a fuel pump meltdown.

i know alot of people that never had a problem with them..... i personally dont like big external pumps because they are to ****ing loud but hey others do..get that bitch built already lol...

I don't mind my magnafuel pump at all. The exhaust almost drowns it out. I just don't like these pumps as they don't recirculate efficiently. Magnafuels protuner pump required no driver as it's very efficient.

So what was causing it to overheat? Where was it mounted? How was it feed? Where was the return line in the tank? What size lines lines were used in and out of it? What size regulator did you use?

I have had good success with aeromotive pumps so far. Eventually i am going to switch to magnafuel since it will support more power. The new versions of the aeromotive extrenals support pretty much every fuel type including Pump Gas, Race Gas, E85, Diesel, alcohol/Ethanol heres the link: http://aeromotiveinc.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/11104.pdf

sweet thanks man! I am going with a Glenns setup but idk is I want the A1000or 3 walbaro pumps.

their inefficient. They are not rrcirculating pumps, they run off a driver which controls the pump, the problem is they still get hot! You need a recirculating pump which circulates the fuel thru the pump actually cooling it down.

Aeromotive pumps are made in china now which is why their quality has gone down.

Huh? The a1000, eliminator, and pro series all have fuel circulating around the motor.

No they don't, they need drivers which are for pumps that don't recirculate. Unless your sticking the pump in a fuel cell, it's going to overheat since it doesnt circulate like aeromotive says it does. No true recirculating pump needs a driver.

very true...touche'

how did that pump look I posted?
That a nice pump! I have the protuner 750 and I couldn't be happier. The thing just pushes so much fuel through it. No need for a driver either, the thing stays cool to the touch even after all the dyno runs I put it through.

sweet. I need it for a 100% street car. I dont want to run 3 pumps really. Noice sucks but w/e I guess. I know the 3 walbaros will be cheaper but a peace of mind with 1 pump is nice. I guess I would get the Glenns A1000 kit and sub in the Mangafuel pump. not to hard
