i thought the mach1 has 4v engine also and they push 305 just like the cobra??whoever said 250 is crazy...
If anyone said 250 they Prob Meant rwhp.......But it's still alot closer to 275 RWHP
True, but I heard that the 2004 Mach 1's made closer to 320 hp (figure 295 to 300 rwhp). I read this in some article. It didn't say what helped it achieve 15+ hp over the 03's.
Is this at all true???

This would be a good questions for you Mach 1 owners.

Also jsut so you know that is flywheel HP...Rear Wheel HP is less...About 15% for Manuals and about 30% for autos...That is not an exact percentage but it is a good round about figure...

Most I have seen dyno at 260rwhp - 270rwhp and 290rwtq - 300rwtq...

I personally think the GT (the one stated in the first post) will give the Mach1 a run for the money...My guess would be GT will win...But not by much...

i have about the same mods as you and i race my buddys mach one which has a little more than this guys and once we hit third he runs away from me and then i got long tubes and now i pull past him get some long tubes on there and you will walk him with the mods you have

i would think im putting close to 260 to the wheels... which multiplying by 1.15 for taking in account driveline friction would put me around 300 to the wheels... so hp wise we would be probably within 10hp. taking that in account i have more gearing than he does so...i win :dunno ?

on another subject though...i blew my control arm bushings... time to get some uppers and lowers... anyone run GMS control arms?

I've looked into the mach's alot recently Most of the numbers they go like this...

273- Rwhp The Lowest Stock Dyno Ran I found
299- Rwhp is the highest Stock dyno I found (On a Mustang Dyno)

Tq is usually 290-310

But with very little modding Exhuast,Cai,Tune
Most mach's are over 300 rwhp
16% is the standard for driveline loss
I think auto is closer to 22%-25%
30% seems a bit high

I would stay away from all things GMS...Just buy some tubular upper and lowers from summit...

I highly doubt you are at 260rwhp...You might have 245rwho at the most IMHO...

I meant to put 20%...I use 15% for manuals and 20% for autos...

Bone Stock 03 Mach 1 I watched dyno at a dyno day

Heres another one for ya...

I speak the troof...

Most Machs dont have over 300rwhp...I dont know where you are getting your information but I get mine from seeing it done with proof...

Ofcourse not Like I said stock They average about 275-280 rhwp 299hp is simply highest stock dyno I've found. Prob a nice freak car

What I said is

"But with very little modding Exhuast,Cai,Tune
Most mach's are over 300 rwhp"

And I meant after those mods.
Sorry for not being Clear (Homeschooled Grammar Here)

there nice cars "Regardless"!

But to have a shot against a Mach He needs to add at least 50 hp.
And he hasn't done that yet.

I think he is around 245rwhp right now with the GT...

With the GT having gears and some weight reduction a stock Mach 1 is going to be a drivers race...

I have not seen any bone stock Mach 1's dyno over 260-270...

You are talking 5rwhp...That can be accounted for by conditions of the dyno days...I jsut know I saw it first ahnd and I beat mach 1's with just bolt-ons and gears...

By almost full bolt-on I mean UDP, Plenum, TB, CAI, Longtubes, O/R X-Pipe, Flowmaster Cat-Back, 3.73 gears, Tubular LCA's, and Tubular UCA's...

And now with the blower I still have stock Mach guys talk $hit...Around my area alot of the Mach guys are really hardcore elitest and cockheads...Some are cool though...Most look down on the GT's to much for me...
