I ordered wheels from them also a couple months ago, they lied several times saying they were shipping out in 2-3 days, the next time, its was 2-3 days, the next time, it was tomorrow, the next time i called, it was tomorrow. took me a little over 3 weeks. I was polite and called probably 6 times. Then finally someone called me back and explained i would get them tomorrow, which leads me to believe that the whole working crew eventually found out that i was relentless calling every 3 days, i think they shipped them on overnight shipping. Great quality, exactly want i wanted.

I have had a similar issue with andysautosport.com. I was backed into by a friends mother at the gas station and was given insurance money to get a new front clip. I had the cobra R and was looking for a new look. I bought some side skirts as well. The products were labeled as poly. However, what came several weeks later was ridiculous!!! They were paper thin fiberglass they had cracks, holes and the finish would have taken 20 to 30 hours of prep to paint. Even if I did this work I would have had to shave and add fiberglass to get them to fit.

Dose anyone know of a place where you can get good poly aftermarket body kits???

best of luck for you, hopefully you will be 1 of the few that has a good experience ..by the way,did the rim get to you good and safe, didnt get scratched up or anything?
Hopefully it goes well :). Everything was great bro! No scratches, it was wrapped pretty good haha Thanks man!

I was told to stay away from the body kit companies from the shop i just used. they said that this happens a lot and that if i were going to do something order it directly from the manufacture to be sure. I went roush with my car and Stage3 hooked me up. I believe they are a dealer and order right from roush and saleen. His point was that roush parts are made for our cars and require very little prep work if any. just scuff prime and paint usually. if you still want to do the kit after all this I would recommend them. shipping was fast and the guy on the phone was pretty cool. anything over 600 bucks they put a signature on it so you have to sign personally to ensure that you get it and that you are supposed to look at it when you get it. if its messed up then make sure that the fedex guy writes damaged upon reciept on the invoice or whatever. Give them a try. Sucks they treated you like that, ill never order form them for it.

What did the mfg say about this? I would think they would want you to have the correct parts.
The MFG (KBD) were actually nice people. They said that sort of prep time for their product is way out of line. These people were so ignorant on the phone a conversation never even got to the point for me to mention it.

In my timeline, from the first mention to them of a problem it was obvious that there would be no effort made on their part to work out a proper solution. A possible solution was never even discussed, they would never even let it get that far. It was always, you pay shipping back, forfeit the shipping to you and pay a restocking fee. The only concession the final manager dave made was we'll waive the restocking fee. Is all I wanted anyways was the wing I ordered and a proper bodykit. Now, is all I want is my money back. And to let people know my story to try to save someone else some heartache.

And to the person that asked about the bodykits and who to go through....almost all these places actually sell the same product. They pretty much come from the same manufacturers. Only difference is who your buying from. I, like someone else here has always heard good things about stge 3 motorsports. I think you may want to look into abc exclusives or mr bodykit..I think one of those two has a decent rep. I know they can send out a bad prodcut from time to time but I know I've read repeatedly that one of those two has always stood up and done a good job with problems.

For me and what I have now I couldn't be happier with. I didn't end up urethane after this debacle. I ordered an AIT saleen kit and couldn't be happier. It is polyfiber (not as resistant in a hit but much cheaper to fix, properly prepped looks exactly the same as the urenthane). It arrived today. We will have a to do a genuine 2-3 hours prep front bumper, rear bumper and maybe 1-2 on the skirts. It's exaclty the product I was looking for and would recomend it to anyone. As for who to order through I can't give a suggestion. I would just recomend you call before buying a kit and ask who makes it. Then send an email to the manufacturer, KBD, AIT, or whomever..... and ask how long prep should take on the pieces. That way you have something in writing if you get a kit that shows up and your told all of the sudden 3-4 grand for install because you have junk. :yes

On a side note...this seems to be a very busy forum. I've been a long standing stangnet forum and it's got relatively quite there over the years. I'm excited to start participating here. I'm having a custom big brake kit made 14in front with ssbc force v8 calipers and a 13" rear kit with a wilwood caliper being made right now. The kit is being custom made by Revolution LLC in OR. I will post some stuff up when I get my hands on them in a few weeks. I'll also post up some pics and whatnot when this kit is mounted and installed in a week or so.

well i have heard my share of horror stories form them..but i recently bought my wheels from them anyways..

I ordered the staggered stealth bullitts and nitto invos (255) and NT05 (295) for $1275 all together. prettty good deal, BUT it turned out something was wrong witht the finish on one of the wheels so they offered me the Omega Godspeeds for the same quoted price!!!! and i lived close so i just went to pick them up and they even met me off the interstate so i wouldn't have to come find them!! they also gave me a discount for a forum i wasn't even apart of!!

all in all i saved over $900 by going with them!!! i also talked to some of there sales reps for a pretty long time to just bull shittin with em! i had a great expereince with them!

I just wanted to put that out there.

But i do hope you everything works out for you. sorry that all happened.
