Hi guys, I am at a loss for words right now, I never intended on insulting anyones intelligence. I have been waiting pretty much my whole life to have the car I have been building. I got my first Mustang when I was 15 (67 Coupe) and have had just about every incarnation of the Mustang over the last 25 years and now have my 12'th Mustang which is an 05. I have a pretty good knowledge base on Mustangs from owning and modifying them for 25 years but I will openly admit that I don't know everything. I know a TB is pretty much just for show on NA cars but they do make decent hp on supercharged cars. At this point I don't care if I only get 10 hp. As I mentioned before, I am trying to get "everything I can" out of my car with the stock block and adding the TB will help me get "everything" out of it and thats all I meant by it. JDM Engineering has YouTube videos showing the Ford Racing TB making almost 30 hp gains and as much as 50 at 6600 RPM on a Saleen Extreme Mustang. Now, I do understand that I do not have an Extreme Saleen or a built motor but I can sure hope to see numbers better than 10 and if I don't, I don't. Either way I am happy just getting everything I can out of my car right now. So if I insulted anyones intelligence my typing 20 hp gains I apologize.

you didn't insult anyone's intelligence. this is the type of place you have to be a bit thick skinned or you'll get butt hurt (not talking specifically about you). as with anywhere there is a lot of crap talking in here.

let's get some pics of your car and also welcome to the forum

I hear ya. I have a lot invested over the last few months trying to get the car performance wise as good as it can be on the stock block.

1. Whipple 550 Kit
2. Whipple 10 Rib Pulley System
3. Fore Racing Billet Fuel Rails
4. Lethal Performance Aluminum Intercooler Tank
5. Autometer vacuum/boost gauge
6. Autometer Wideband Air/Fuel gauge
7. Speed Of Sound A Pillar Gauge Pod
8. Kooks LT Jet Hot Coated Headers
9. Kooks H Pipe
10. Magnaflow Cat Backs
11. Stef's Air/Oil Separator
12. Royal Purple Oil w/ Ford Racing Filter
13. Ford Racing TB
14. Ford Racing Black Cam Covers (Just for looks)
15. CPC Battery,Booster, Shock Tower & Radiator extension covers (Looks)

I am now at the point where I can just concentrate on traction. With next years taxes I plan on a 6 speed tranny with performance clutch and aluminum 1 piece drive shaft.

My car already has Eibach springs and Tokico D Spec Adjustable shocks Steeda 20" Spyder Rims w/ Nito 315 Invo on rear and 275 on front and I have just ordered and will be installing next week

1. Wilwood 14" 6 piston front brakes w/ SS Lines
2. Wilwood 13" 4 piston rear brakes w/ SS lines
3. Ford Racing Aluminum differential cover
4. Moser bearing stud kit
5. Royal Purple gear oil

I am glad I got the FFRP TB because its only going to help in my situation and I have seen dyno runs proving it can give as much as 20 hp and 20 foot lbs and in some cases more. I have $1,400 invested in just the headers and H pipe alone and I think it only nets me around 25 hp/ft lbs so I think another 20-25 for $500 is worth it, but hey, Im silly like that :)
you robbin them banks again huh, son?

LOL yah, I've been hitting one a month :)

Actually, I lost my dad 1 year ago at the young age of 67. He was a huge Ford fan and taught me everything I know. He had a beautiful 63 1/2 Galaxie that he spent 20 years building and only had 5 years to enjoy it. It hit me, I'm 40 and its about time I make my dreams a reality and enjoy my life and car as long as I can. I did some saving, used my tax returns and melted some serious plastic LOL.

i hear you on the TB. 10hp is a gain. 5hp is a gain. is it worth the money? that's relative and debatable. i'm shooting for 400hp N/A. will a TB give me 20hp? no. but it might give me that 1.6hp i need to hit 400, and to me, that's worth it.

besides, if anything, the throttle response will improve and that will help at the track.

Well said my friend, well said. Going the NA way is also fun and exciting. Thats something I have been doing for a long time and enjoyed every minute of it. The whole supercharger thing is all new territory for me.
