made three passes last night at the 1/8 mile. these passes were made at about 2900ft above sea level, with about 50% humidity and about 75*. not too sure how much that affects things but i know it does lol.

previous best was a 9.4 and that was with just a catback and in greenville tx, which is about 500ft above sea level.

pass 1: gf was in the car with me

60ft: 2.12
330ft: 6.18
1/8mile: 9.52
1/8mph: 74.59

pass 2: alone

60ft: 2.1
330ft: 6.09
1/8mile: 9.35
1/8mph: 76.13

pass 3: alone

60ft: 2.12
330ft: 6.05
1/8mile: 9.31
1/8mph: 76.25

click pic for vid. i was sleepin at the light lol

Nice runs. You'd be closer to a 9.1 at sea level. That's what I like about Maryland International Raceway. It's barely 20ft above sea level. :D

They let you go down the track with a passenger???

thanks. thats what i figured time wise, i really wanna hit the track next time im in the dallas area cause i can feel a difference in how my car runs cause its soooo much closer to sea level.

every track ive been to ive had someone go down with me, never thought anything of it.

All the tracks I've gone to don't allow a passenger. I've been wanting to take my wife for a drive down the track. Lucky you! lol

i was surprised how much my GF liked it. she wanted to go again right after lol the only thing that freaked her out a lil was the burnout.

My wife wants to race the Stang. It would be awesome cause then we could take both cars to events and race them. She's just not familiar with how the track procedures work but she's learning just from watching. She's proven she can handle the car on the street (more than once), she just needs to learn the track.

that would be badass. my gf has been learning pretty quick about cars and she was picking up how things worked at the track. woman like ours are keepers :yes

*EDIT* Nevermind I just looked at your garage. I bet its tough to get hooked up with those 4.10's. Does your 3rd gear carry you all the way? My 3rd gear seems good to about 87 and I have 3.73's.

What gears are you running? I just ran this past week and got consistent 8.9's/ I'm just curious to all your mods. :)

car should run a lot better at a lower altitude, hoping for a 9.0 run in dallas next time im out that way.

i have a 2step set at 3500 and the car hooks up just fine. 3rd gear runs till about 80mph so im fine there. the biggest thing i have against me right now is that im a vert... its heavier and flexes a lot more than a coupe.
