i stumbled accross 5.0's by luck! here is the story: so i had just started dating this girl, and she had a friend who was recovering from surrgery. She somehow convinced me to go with her to visit her bedridden friend. We get to this house and everything is real lame and they start talking about girl stuff, so i drift off into my own little word and naturally i am thinking about cars and hotrods etc. And then I look out the window and I see one of the most beautiful things i have ever laid eyes on....it was a beautiful, blue, all original, 1970 BOSS 302! looking at it i noticed parked along side it was green 1995 Mustang GT! the girl that lived there saw me looking at the car, and she suggested that i go talk to her dad about it because he was considering maybe selling the 95', well me being in the market for a car rushed out there and ended up taking it for a test drive and i fell in love that very moment! i bought the car and my dad gave up his spot in the garage so i could park it in there! i will mostlikely own 5.0's for the rest of my life! (money permiting)

everytime i hear that car rev up i am reminded of why i love it so much!!!

hope you enjoyed my story its not every day somebody wants to know why i picked that car!

Some of you guys are way to mushy when it comes to your car. Get a grip! I like it for the adaptability. Truth be told, I don't care what kind of car I drive as long as it is fast. Not necessarily the fastest car out there, but one that can get me in a lot of trouble is good enough. Mustangs just look like the business end of a butt whoopin to me. That what draws my attention to them. Not to mention, if you guys can work on them they gotta be easy to work on. :D

my father was always big on mustangs, i was about 8 when he bought a fox body, and immediatly i fell in love with it, i loved the power and sound it made especially when you revved it up, the car would twist and turn everytime you did it.
when i was 14, my dad gave me the car to work on and such and woul be my first car when i got my license, and it was just so much fun to drive, everybody would look at you and give thumbs up

Why a 5.0?

My first car was a 1967 289 Mustang Coupe....I was 15...(Wish I kept it)
When you get Mustang in your blood you can't leave it...I've had sereral different cars thoughout the years, But I swore to someday own a 5.0.
A couple of years ago I Bought my 90 LX Coupe 5.0....It was in rough shape but cheap...I'm restoring the car ... When a 12 year old boy hears me coming down the road and gives me a thumbs up...and when a new Mustang guy waves as I pass -That's Cool! It's being part of a 43 year history of the coolest pony ever!!! And nothing sounds like a 5.0! :rockon

Well, My dad and brother pushed the Ford or Die on me, but my car of choice would actually be a 98-02 LS1 F Body, but the fact that I cannot afford one, and even if I did i'd be too scared to drive it hard or anything for fear of breakage and cost, where as my Mustang, I'm not scared of it breaking (Built Ford Tough), and if I do parts are quick and easy to get. And you cannot beat the sound of Ford Mustang. And they are extremely quick given their HP ratings and such. :pimp

well, my story starts like most of these, with family. My uncle had a badazz
86GT. Rode with him and fell in love with the car. Well the car was totaled and we tranplanted he drivetrain into a s-10. YESSS A S10!!! Well now he has one of the baddest s10 in the area. I just want my stang to show him that you can't beat the FOX.

well like the rest of u my dad had a 68 lemans and from then on i was a pontiac fan so i had a 70 firebird for a couple of years but parts for those are way to much so when i got rid of it i wanted something fast reliable and that could swang a donut so since doing burnouts and swaging donuts is what the 5.0 was made for i got i love its looks good sounds and runs great
