Just messing with a new iphone app...dont flame me please. I would like to get a nice camera and start taking some "real" photos...You pros got any suggestions for some good starter equipment that wont brake the bank?

whats ur price range?
my d3000 was 500$, prolly less now, and i love it
its a entry level dslr, so u can find some of those around 400$ prolly if not even a lil cheaper

$300-$400 would be ok...I take a lot of pics and even took a photography class in school, just never bought a decent camera to work with. I guess its about time to get one though.

I will look into the d3000 and see what other dlsr's are out there for a good price.

Check out your local CL.. that way you can try it before you buy it. Nikon D40, D40X, D60, D3100 all should be good starter DSLRs.
