On one of my sbc builds I've decided to go turbo I'm going to go carb since it isn't a daily driver even tho it's not a ford does anyone have a idea of a good carb?? Is there a specific brand/type I should lean towards and certain ones I should stay away from?

A Pro Systems carburetor will be built off of a Holley HP, with a custom baseplate, and custom tuned, and wet flowed. Once you get it, you get one on one customer service directly with Pat, who is the owner of the company. All of this for about the same price as an OTB Holley carb. They're the best.

I use a CSU carb on mine. 18 pounds of boost, runs perfect.

I just bought a novi 2000 for my street car.... Going to run eithe a pro systems or a CSU. Can't go wrong with either.

Im probably going to go with an E85 carb from prosystems... but I have yet to decide between than and EFI yet...
well im going carb because EFI is a mind bottling system and ive ran honda and chevy on jetts but im going to go carb because ive heard from many sources that the big numbers lie in going carb and i honestly am starting to feel the same way i plan on having this car a true street car hence why i asked for the best carb lol and man e85 is a amazing fuel choice i would but idk if ima break over 10 mpg on gas so i would shoot my self on e85

im gonna have to run e85 for the compression i have in my engine... but my car is a street car and I wanna keep it that way... I drive it to work about once a week.. and occasionally to school.

i have 351W stock stroke with all good parts in it, stock 69 block though... 11.2:1 compression though... gonna change the cam out to a blower cam from my custom grind nitrous cam...

ill be close to that.... I could care less about power... i want 9.50s... so 700 horse at the altitude should be plenty.

i would have been 9s this weekend had the car not spun the tires so hard... transbrake and 350 shot of nitrous was not something that the car held up to... just skated around... in and out of the throttle 3 times by the 800 foot mark, where i let out completely, and just coasted to an 11.2 @ 102...
If you stayed on it you could have been low 10's?? Why don't you wait to engage the shot or do a 2 stage on my 10.47 pass I ran low boost out the whole and then high I'm second if I didn't I would 1.spin half way to hell and 2. Go into a wall lol
