You can also give Rejex a go its a very durable sealant that will last up to half a year or more.

Would I have to order that online, or do stores sell it?

Best wax? There is none. If you want something good you have to pay up. The real question is how much do you want to spend, maybe I missed it. This is the deciding factor on which wax will be the "best" for YOU. An amazing wax that is quite cheap, cheaper than it probably should be, is Adam's Americana. It's $70 but it compares to some high dollar waxes. I've got it on my car now and it's amazing. The level of depth, shine, gloss, etc is ridiculous. If you like the wet look, and don't want to spend $150+, than this is the wax for you!

if you want the best bang for your buck in terms of looks real good and extreme durability. Get some Colinite 845. The stuff is usually under 15bucks you can find it in stores like napa and sometimes autozone..It goes on easy and comes off real easy..its durability is probably the pest out there for a liquid wax..you can get a good 4months or more of protection out of it. Its got a learning curve..you put it on SUPER thin. and then wipe it off about 30secs later. I use this stuff on my beater and in winter months I can get about 3months of durability with salt and snow beating on it all the time.
Except it looks dull and horrible.

I would much rather use Rejex in terms of well, EVERYTHING. It's going to look much better, better beading, better durability, etc. I've got it on my wheels and it blew my mind how well it works.

Well, I was hoping to spend around $50 on wax. I will look up Adam's Americana.

And do would I use Rejex after I wax, or is that a substitute for wax?

I'm such a noob at all this. In the past I just wash with a good car wash like Eagle One or something, then I would Clay Bar, and then I would go over it with a wax like the Meguiar's I mentioned earlier.

Rejex is a sealant but not in a sense of a typical traditional sealant. It's quite different. It's basically in between traditional sealants like Meguiars NXT, Blackfire Wet Diamond, etc and the new nano sealants like CQuartz, Opti 2.0, etc etc. Traditional sealants you can use and than apply a high quality carnuba over to get a better appearance. However with Rejex you would not use a wax over it.

Is this for your silver Mustang or the Mazda? What color is it?

I also highly suggest you look at the Detailing Sticky at the top of the page. There are links of TONS of great threads containing a lot of information. I wrote a write up in there that would explain a lot. I really think you should take the few minutes to read it. Trust me!

I just might have to give the Rejex a try.

And it is for the Mazda. I just waxed the Mustang like a month ago and I don't/can't drive it anymore due to it is for sale and I don't want something to happen to it.

And I have read one or two things from the Sticky, I will read some more. It's not like I have anything else to do on a Friday where basically everyone is gone on vacation at work haha

Sorry for that brain fart.. I didn't even notice the title. Damn tired...

Anyways in that case I would buy a traditional sealant like Blackfire Wet Diamond and top it with Adam's Americana. It will be insane..

I feel ya man.. I'm dragging too. Doesn't help that I am one of the only people at work so it's quiet and even kinda warm in here..

And okay man, that sounds good to me! And that is in my price range too! Thanks a lot for your help. This is my first black car, so I'm kind of excited about the challenge of keeping swirl marks and stuff out of it

Its ALL in the prep IMHO...

I have found BFWD to be the best sealant...

And IMHO Pinnacle Signature Series II the best of my LSP's...

I have
Dodo Juice Double Wax
Autoglym HD
Megs
Pinnacle Sig Series II

What is a good product to get remove little scratches? You can't see them unless you look hard for them, but I know they're there and want them gone

I've heard that Meguiar's ScratchX 2.0 is good stuff, so I might give it a try unless ya'll change my mind..

Are there any cheaper polishers out there that maybe aren't quite as good, but still get the job done? I don't have $110 for just a polisher :(
