I say keep it until all the black is done on your car then make the decision.

Thats the current plan. Im getting my door windows tinted in a couple days, so that should help. Im also thinking about putting a red pinstripe around the outer edge of the wheels. How does everyone think that will look?

Thanks Powa! I am quite surprised actually. I wasn't expecting as many people to approve of the new look. I have some leftover plastidip and will be doing the hood soon and the windows will get done in the next two day's or so and i'll have some updated pics. If I do keep this look then I will be redoing the blackout panel from the gloss black to satin, so it will all match.

I think once you do everything that you plan on doing black you will like it more and more.

yah, we'll you can kinda see my color combo....basically black/red/chrome. like I had tint and black bumper inserts, then I added the black saleens and was like damn...I'm onto something this can look good. So I did the smoked heads, and it looked even better, then tinted tails was like icing to finish it off.

Your car looks really good. Hopefully, my finally product turns out good.

Looks good man I like it. I cant tell, is it glossy looking or flat? Could you clear coat it? I might do this to my Bullitts to hold me over til I buy those XXR 526 wheels.

i like excessive contrasts so i think it looks great. dark paint vehicles needs chrome and light paint vehicles need dark wheels, imo. i might do this to mine after my next work hitch... if you peel it off in the next two weeks let me know how much it sucks, if it does.

Like POWA said it dries to a flat black. Looking around on google I have read about people painting over the plastidip and using clear coat to make the finish shiny but surprisingly I like the flat look.

Honestly man. Im having a hard time keeping it on. I have a love, hate relationship going on with how it looks right now. Everytime I drive by a building with mirrored glass, all I see is black. If my car was black it wouldn't be so bad, since I would be going for the murdered look but I think mine looks too much like a police car. Sitting still, I think it looks good up close. From a distance its all black again.

I have all black wheels too, and I love the look. Especially at night it looks like you are floating.

Just a heads up for anyone wanting to try out plastidip. I took mine off earlier and it only took about ten minutes. I just couldn't make myself like the all black wheels. I think i'll try again but be creative and leave a chrome lip. The stuff goes on easy and is easier to remove. Didn't leave any residue behind or damage my chrome.
