wow this car is a lot quieter lol I took off a mac o/r hpipe with super 40 FM catback and changed to a prochamber. It sounds deeper as far as I can tell,but its a hell of a lot quieter lol Im really thinking about changing mufflers now. Any suggestions?

the clips ive heard online of 10 series sound kinda raspy. Thats why I got rid of the o/r hpipe in the first place.
Make it a little louder but sound better than before if that makes sense? I love the tone I have now but overall the sound is a lot quieter. Is there a muffler I can switch to that will give me more noise without sacrificing tone?

My 10s dont sound raspy at all in my eyes/ears but I dont have a prochamber or h pipe I have an catted x pipe. I could be wrong though let me know if it sounds raspy to you. P1010821.mp4 video by RockwellTommy - Photobucket

hmmm that's weird...i had the o/r prochamber and flow 40 combo on my GT...granted at cruising or idle it wasn't overly loud...but the moment you gave it any gas it screamed. post up an exhaust clip...i'll compare it to mine
Il try and get one today. Do you have super 40s or original 40s?

Which is what I loved most about the prochamber/Flow 40 setup. I could be quiet as a mouse cruising by johnny law but I could be loud as hell once I got on her!

same here...our police station is right in the center of town so when i used to drive by i'd keep her quiet lol. but damn was it fun at red lights when you take off like normal and it makes the person next to you have to do a double take or jump.
i think my favorite moment for that combo was when i was at a light and it just turned red...another GT pulled up next to me and asked if i wanted to go. i don't street race so i said no thanks..he said something along the lines of "yeah you'd probly loose"...he rev'd :lmao his nice stock exhaust...so i looked at him and then gave the throttle a nice little tromp. his face kinda flushed out after that and his smug face was gone

My set up is LOUD AS ****. I think prochamber plus lm1 is quiet at idle but screams when opened up.

seems to me like you want to semi-loud professional sound.... go for the prochamber+borla stingers. ITs loud on full throttle, (and still loud around town) but not annoying. Sounds... fancy

with an o/r x setup they may sound a bit raspy but my 10s with my catted x dont sound too raspy IMO.
