I had been waiting forever trying to find one on craigslist or something, but never did. I finally just gave in and bought one from Stage 3 Motorsports.

Yeah it had a bunch of issues going on. I've been back to the body shop twice to have them take it off and put it back on. It doesn't want to sit flush on the car.

Where did you get your bumper at? Also what are you running for lowering springs!

I got my front bumper off ebay. I want to say the company was called Pershing Auto or something like that. When I ordered it I gave them my paint code and it came painted to match. It actually matched up extremely well to the factory paint. It was less than $300 total for the bumper, but I still had to order the chin. No fog lights for me since the intercooler piping is too close. But anyways, just go on ebay and type "painted cobra bumper".

For the springs, I got a complete QA1 tubular everything setup w/ coil overs. I got the ones recommended for street use. Its adjusted pretty low for now. The rear springs are just H&R sport springs from AM.

Moved the seat covers on the '96 into the '04...still thinking about it..

Dude, a couple simple emblems are nothing.

I saw a guy in an S197 GT yesterday with big old Cobra emblems from a GT500 on it, stock front bumper, stock spoiler, yet the Shelby letters on his trunk lid, GT500 wheels. Liking the look is one thing, but all he wanted to do is put the name all over it.

I was hoping it'd at least be one of the very rare Shelby GT cars.. But no, regular S197 GT once I got a closer look. Dude was acting like he was hot **** too. Sitting there all tough like with his sunglasses, giving me that "Yeah, I'm cool." look. I loled.

HAHA wow, the other day I say a 6er with GT spray painted on. Im not a 6er hater becuase I myself have owned one but seriously spray paint? -_-. The worst part is that the letters they spray painted on were about 10 times bigger than the emblems!

Was gonna install the Mac Pro chamber but discovered the previous owner actually removed the cats and had piping welded in so I decided against it as the gains would be like nothing, lol.

D'oh!

Changed out my crappy Spec clutch and put in an OEM Cobra clutch. I ended up having to replace the Spec flywheel too that was scorched all the way through to the other sides. You could see blister marks on the metal because it was slipping so much. The clutch and flywheel only had 8k miles on them before they were trashed.

Also put a Hurst shifter in with the big ass chrome handle.

on another note downloaded some new tunes from bama :eek:

I took some new pics today. Wish the sun was out, but it wasn't. Looks like it will rain soon. I just put on the new hood and tires last week. Now I just need to lower the car.
