Well i had installed a muffler awhile back when i got my stang. its a v6 with a Y exhaust and theres only one tip going out lol. but anyway back on topic my brackets that connect to the muffler are really low and everytime i back out of the drive way or go over a speed bump, theres a screeching scratching noise that just breaks my heart:sorry how can i pick it up?

what brackets? did you clamp a muffler up or have it welded? either way you can add a universal hanger for around $5 and fix that....so when are you gonna get a better setup if i may ask?

its welded on,the brackets are in the middle where it connects to a pipe then the muffler and then to the tip ...and to answer your Question im going to get a better set up when i have money lol im still in high school and i dont have alot of time to work. but i will and when my stang is the **** trust me you will smell it lol...oh is it better to get a v6 Y conversion or tru dual

make sure your exhaust is bolted good and tight...if it is just add a universal hanger and call it a day...
as for your exhaust...save up around $250 and you'll have a nice setup for cheap
as for how to go about it...it's cheaper to have a shop fab it all up and cut off the y

alright cool thanks also when ever i go over bumps my car jerks around alot is it normal its like towards the back

toss on a rear sway bar off of a salvaged GT and you'll get rid of that motion...

Kids these days .. School is NO excuse for not working! When I was in high school, I was working 40 hours a week making over $400. Granted, I spent it on dumb ****, but I still worked
Actually, even now I probably go to school almost as much as you. Monday through thursday from 530 to 11. & I work 7-3:30. lol, it does suck having no life tho .. :sorry Except on the weekends!

the rubber isolators could be worn out...if so you can either replace them...or pull them off all four corners then wrap the ends of the springs with electrical tape

What im doing this weekend as well as rebuilding my trans is cutting off the y , and running straight pipe with like a 45 - 90 degree bend to spill out before the real wheels.. also slapping on two glass packs... I think this will haev a nice rumble, be real cheap cuz i have a friend in FAB, soo.. YEAAA
