First let me say that I am new to the forums here and will have several questions as the restoration( modding) begins, I have already posted in the classic mustang section as I belived that is where I needed to be as I am going to be the primary worker on a 1972 mustang sprint coupe that the wife and I bought.
Here's a funny for ya, we were looking for a ride to replace my 1995 chevy pick up ( I am a delivery driver) as my daily driver, I was going for a small toyota pick up when she suggested that I check the mustang section of ebay just to see what was close by, ( she has a 02 coupe, 300 v6, after market hood scoop), well low and behold they had a 72 coupe that was 45 mins from our location and the price they were asking , well lets say I couldn't turn it down, so WE bought the car, not 5 mins after the car was purchased, it went from a car to replace my truck to HER mustang, she used the fact that her birthday was just a few days away and what a nice present that was for me to get HER,
Needless to say ( those of you who are married for more than 6m months will understand) I didn't say a word just let her rant and rave about her new stang,
All I have to say about the whole ordeal is that she may own the body and the interior of the 72, but the Heart of that car( supposedly 351c cid 2v, not for sure if it has a c4 automatic or an AFX tranny ) belongs to me ! LOL
