will a hood from a 99-04 v6 with out the hood scoop fit on a 99-04 gt with out any problems.

Yes. I want one too. They are the same hood. It is just drilled and the scoop is bolted on.

they are the same hood...just like GT's some have a scoop and some don't...unless you're talking about 99-00 v6 hoods which are the same as cobras from the same year...either way they are all interchangable

nick if that's the style hood you were saying you wanted just drive around till you see a white mustang with it and see if they'd trade right then and there.....hood's are easy to swap
