My car is certainly very clean but I need a change....

Your car looks ****tastic man. I wouldn't trade. Buy a new hood or something to bring the love back to your car. You have gotten bored with it is whats going on.

Wow, thanks for the very positive feedback Dale! Honestly, I would like the 2.5" Cobra R cowel as well as Cobra side skirts to complete the exterior. I have 4:10's and a used SCT Tuner (which is giving me major issues for some reason whenever I use the strategy mode and dont even touch the shift points, it bounced off the rev limiter?) to get installed in it. And I also want the BFG KDW II tires are well but cant justify it because I don't need them right now.

I love my car, don't get my wrong, but as Dale stated, I am BORED with my car. It's an auto and I would love a manual again, but I know once he gears and tuner get installed it will be a different car to drive.

That sucks but priorities always come first.

That hood is a good starting point and those tires seem to get good reviews. To bad you're in Arizona, I have been wanting to swap my stick for an auto. As for the SCT tune, did you adjust the WOT shift points manually? If so you may have put your shift point too close to your rev limiter, causing your car to bump the limiter before reaching it's shift point. I have a hood scoop off my old hood that I need to get rid of, it's white also and is in good condition. Will let it go pretty cheap.

Dale, you read my mind on that hoop scoop. I take it that it should match my car just fine. It is the factory scoop? Dale, that is install like for this scoop, it's bolt on correct? PM me Dale so we can get it figured out.

That scoop or a cowl hood, Cobra side skirts, Cobra mirrors and a re-spray on my front bumper and I will fall back in love with my car.

It will work fine, just gotta drill holes for the studs to go through your hood and it's the factory scoop. I would choose the cowl hood over the scoop but it's a good alternative until you can afford the aftermarket hood. Another cheap alternative is to just paint your stock mirrors. They may not be the real deal or have the ability to fold in but it will be alot cheaper.

Well, gents, instead of starting a new thread on this, I just thought I would add to what we already have here. I sold my car and got an '05 Mazda Tribute which my wife and I love. I hate the fact that my car is gone and the wife has NOT given me the green light to finance another Mustang.

Although I don't have the green light, I am certainly still looking. Well, the guy is still trying to sell this BULLITT that we have been talking about. It now has 110k on it and he is ASKING $8k. However, last week he called me and said these exact words: "Hey man do you know anyone that wants to buy my car? I only want $6k because I found another car today that I want and the guy is holding it for me. But I have to sell it today for that price."

I wanted to tell him "I'LL TAKE IT!!!!!" on the spot but unfortunately I couldn't do that. Being that he is asking $8k, and the mileage, how much would I offer him if the car still checks out?

I doubt he will take $6k. I would feel comfortable paying no more than $7,200 however. I wish, my wife will need a lot of convincing to take a loan out. Insurance is what kills the deal for her honestly.

No, he only wanted 6k for it THAT day because he wanted to buy another car.

Dont finance a new edge, its just not worth it. Sucks you dont have one, but youll hate the extra money spent on a loan for one.

How about this: Sell the wife's Jetta for like $3k and try to come up with the rest? That is now my new goal/plan of attack.
