You sir have a TON of negative rep!
Lmao I know right I just completely ignored his comment.

Hunt the guy down. Yes it needs restated.
Lol you have no idea how bad I want to. I missed going to the bank today too before it closed. I really hope I can get there tomorrow and get this cleared up. If not I guess I'm not THAT in the hole but it's still starting in the hole again

Okay guys I've been through my paypal and bank and was told yeah he's gonna get away with lying to me so this kit is now for sale. I'm looking to get the original $1200 plus shipping I invested into it though I don't expect to make it all back. It's posted in the classifieds so feel free to make me offers. Also if this kit sells I'll be selling a lot of other stuff for the prices I bought them for also like a cobra tank/pumps, wideband, boost gauge, 36lb injectors, pmas, and a Tial 50mm bov. If any of this sounds appealing to you pm me and I'll discuss pricing. Keep in mind I'm not letting any of it go unless this kit sells first as I'd be keeping everything in that case. Thanks for everyone who tried to help me with this ordeal, MM is a great community, real life reps to you all.

I ran through almost a similar situation with the Vortech I bought. I was missing random clamps and other pieces as well, and ended up spending aboutan extra $100 on that stuff. Guess what, it ends up being a guy that starts working at my part time job haha.

Sorry for your issues man.

just fyi, you can send money as payment owed and it will not charge a fee either. idk if they will cover you doing that either but it is a hell of a lot better than just sending it as a gift. atleast with payment owed, you may have a chance.

i would keep as well it since you have it now and make/buy the intercooler piece (looks like a 90 then a 45 on top or two 90's) and round up the other misc. pieces. like JT said, might can get it from on3.

Damn Jesse, sorry to hear that. I feel for you man. I honestly dont know how someone can go out of there way to **** you over. Hes a piece of ****. I hope his girlfriend is getting ****ed by his best friend.

If the kit sells, I might be interested in the tank and pumps.

Not to harp on the paypal but just so people know you don't "avoid" the fees when you gift money. The difference is that paypal charges the buyer (or gifter) instead of the seller (or giftie) they still get there service charg no matter what. Just a litle fyi

Jesse just keep it. I'm sure I can help you out building the rest of the kit.

on3 can probablly source the rest of the kit, I'd contact them.
No they won't, they don't sell parts to their kits outright. You either buy the whole thing or nothing, I've called and asked, and it says it on the website.

Jesse just keep it. I'm sure I can help you out building the rest of the kit.
^ He's right, if anyone can help you get this done it will be the users on this forum.

I say keep it, finish it, and then burn some rubber :3gears

Lmao Shaun that made my morning and you guys really think it's worth keeping? I've been so pissed off lately I don't know what I should do. The K member is honestly what's making me change my mind. I don't have the tools or extra hand to get it done myself or the money to fork out to have a shop do it. This is why I'm so mad that I'm going to have to invest money into this kit or I might have been able to make it work. I still have to sell my tuner somehow and get an sct just so I can get it tuned. I was hoping to sell the intercooler and bov it came with and some other odds and ends I have laying around to help with those expenses but now it'll just be put toward getting everything I need to make the kit complete. It's just not making sense in my head right now because I had everything worked out as far as what money goes to what and now it's all screwed up. I have busted my ass doing research about everything and getting the best parts I could get to avoid running into problems when it finally gets done, but I think that ended up being what screwed me and left me too broke to finish the build.

It sucks that I can't be guaranteed to get my money back on parts I'll be getting rid of once the turbos on. Whatever I could get for selling my jlt and midpipe mixed with whatever I can get for my predator would cover the sct. I guess I'll just hang onto everything and try to make it work. I'm just so tired of having a few thousand dollars of parts laying around that I can't do anything with :cockblockedsad: Does anyone know what I can do about the oil lines and such? The turbo has the fittings on it and I still have the feed/drain fittings and lines from th vortech. I wonder if I can make that work somehow, then I'm just left with the v bands and finding a way to make the intercooler piping work.

I know how you feel, with all three of my deployments I have over 4 grand worth of parts sitting at home (my turbo build) so I feel your pain. I don't know if you can mix n match oil lines, depends on the fittings I guess? If you need any kind of oil fittings or hoses you can buy them from Jeff over at Hellion Performance. But you'll want to have a good idea of what parts you need before you call.

Intercooler piping... easier than you think. Here's a picture I stole from someone on here, might have been Shaun... :hug

lol jesse, PM me. I can help you finish the kit, its not that bad seriously lol.

I say keep it. I don't know how hard it is to get the set up done since I've never done it, but at this point it seems like you are best off keeping it and piecing together.

hes got an expert turbo kit designer in his own back yard :D

I agree on keeping it.... Dude, just chill for a sec. You are a little overwhelmed with the situation and how quickly it got shitty. You are not in a bad spot at all and you are missing mostly nitpick ****. To be honest with you, most "complete" supercharger kits have half the **** missing too. Mine was one of them. I had to buy all kinds of extra **** when my kit came with "everything to install it". Not even close. Just sit back and make it happen man. In the end, all this headache will blowover and you will be telling yourself it wasnt that bad. You got some good help on here and Cobrastang is a for sure turbo guy and offering to help get you going so make it happen dude. Just relax.

And I read something about the k member you posted (havent kept up real well) but if its about dropping the K, dude, that **** really is simple. Just take your time and dont overwhelm yourself! Get Turbo'd!!!

Okay thanks guys I guess I'm going to keep it and make it work, just gonna be some time before it's all together. Baker I see what you mean and I realize it's not the worst thing ever. I appreciate your advice as well as everyones and I hope this all comes together this year. Thanks again to everyone who helped me in this thread because now it's a source for parts and such and guys like cobrastang who are willing to help me out which is awesome. Said it before but I'll say it again MM kicks ass.

Lmao Shaun that made my morning
LOL

I agree man, I think you should hang onto it. Sometimes we make stupid decisions when were pissed at the world. Just take a few days, get drunk and go pound some twat.

The seller did **** you over. You dont need that much though. For the intercooler piping, you need that one piece, but you could either just order 2 new pipes from Silicone intakes for about $35. Or get that pipe made from a place that welds aluminum for probably the same price.

The silicone couplers, honestly not a big deal at all. I order those a lot, just so I have some extra laying around. Get a foot of it from Silicone Intakes for $30, and cut it to desired lengths.

The VBand clamps, talk to CobraStang. Hell help you out.

For the oil lines, I want to say there a -4AN , which are found here

Smooth bore PTFE hose

Probably get like 2ft for the oil feed. Mine is about 18" but its nice to have some extra, so you can zip tie it out of the way without it being so tight when the motor torques over, the line doesnt get ripped out.

But, contact MasterPower about that, or even On3. Ask them what kind of oil lines you need for the MP70mm turbo on a 2V. Turbosmart or On3 will know right away.

As for the K Member, I havent done one. But it honestly doesnt look that bad. Just need an engine hoist, you can buy at harbor freight cheap. Support the motor, unbolt the motor mounts and probably the front brakes and ****, and shouldnt be bad. Baker said it was really easy and he was worried about doing it.

You start thinking of all this stuff, and its overwhelming at first. But then once you get under the car, and see its not as bad as you think.

That is very true^ thanks for all the good tips and info, really good to have other input on this, helping with the stress of the situation lol. I'll have to hire some extra hands to help with the k member but I'm sure I could get it done. That write up I posted said something about supporting the motor with a chain by the shock towers. Now that seems sketchy but maybe doing that and putting a jack under it would prevent me from having to buy a hoist. Then again maybe I could rent or borrow one, problem is I have no room to store one if I buy one.

The main thing I'm worried about is one I don't have a garage to do any of this in so it'll be a driveway project which means I have to get it done before bad weather rolls in. Besides that the sheer weight of the stock K scares me as that guy in the write up said 3 bigger guys could barely support it. Another thing is finding torque specs on everything, I don't want to screw anything up and break something major.

It's all in due time I guess, I'll find a way to make it work one way or another. Oh and trust me plenty of bourbon and rye has been consumed over this already.
