I wish. Just turned 10K when I put it away last fall.
Ha... I was wondering how long it would take you to get back to this thread. I'm just giving you a hard time about your garage queen. I talked to Dave this week. I appreciate the info.

don't be scared to fly to the best deal and drive it home. quite often the best deals are states away, but well worth it to get a nicer car for cheaper
Thats a good piece of advice. Any other internet websites to go through other than ebay.com or cars.com? I buy small stuff through ebay but I've never purchased a car through ebay. Seems a lil risky esp if I show up and I find faults with the car.

I bought a car off of eBay a few years ago. Got a 1981 Mercedes 380SL for $5,101 with less than 100k miles on it. The most important thing to look for is seller rating and number of transactions. If they have only a few transactions, they could've just been doing small stuff prepping for a scam. But if they are an established eBay company with a 99+% positive seller rating, you'll be fine. My family used to own an eBay company and seller rating meant everything to us.

Good luck!

I've noticed that quite a few of the ebay companies are actually dealerships. I guess that's a good thing.

I flew to Scranton PA to get my car and drove it back to south Louisiana. Nice little road trip! Also flew to Miami to get my sons.
That's a hell of a drive. I drove back home to NC from LA once for the holidays. I won't be doing that again lol. I would do it to get a new car though.

Not to be weird... but in the original post why did you put quotes around "on business" lol. And then you said when you get back next year... are you in the military. Not trying to pry, just curious.
