Like the title says what should my next mod be? So far I have a bbk cai, 78mm throttlebody, 4.10 gears, mgw short throw, and slp lm1s. What do you guys think? Cams? or should i just keep saving for a supercharger kit? let me know what you would do. My budget is $2000 just fyi so anything less than that is fair game. Thanks in advance guys!

I feel bad no one responded to this thread. If I created a thread like this I would want people to respond. So on that note, here is my .02

If you already don't have a mid pipe I would get one of those. Off road preferably. You didn't list it so I'm not sure. Also there are a bunch of different options, blower of course being one. Cam's you will have to look down the road, do you want to stay N/A or go blown. That brings us to the next subject you could get some spray and go that route with some nitrous cams. It's really all up to you and what you want/have planned for the car.

id get a set of comp 272's. o/r x pipe. and a tune. that 2000 bucks should cover parts and labor on everything if you have a shop do it.

where at in iowa you from man?

^ that is a good idea, or you save up a bit more and get a supercharger, just depends if you can wait that long for a supercharger. getting a tune now wouldnt help if you further modded your car.

thanks for the link stal! thats exactly what I'm looking for but I was hoping it'd be closer to 3k though. And all I want out of the car is for it to be a nice clean street car that visits the track maybe once or twice a year. I don't race it I just want it to look good and have some power to back it up. I'm not looking to be the fastest on the road or anything like that

I will have everything by summer for under 2k which is a good price and why you never buy a kit unless you like throwing money while On a budget. The only factor stopping that is me and my dad are buying a 68 in about a week.

a v1 s trim can put down plenty good numbers. it flows 1050 cfm and is a good entry level sc. the si trim which is the other kit i posted flows 1150 cfm and is a self contained head unit so install is a little easier. the si kit will put down more hp per pulley due to the fact it is a more efficent sc and a taller internal step ratio. if you were to install both kits with out changing any pulleys the v1 s trim kit will make 7-8# and the v3 kit will put down a little over 10#

alright cool well thanks again man. Right now I'm thinking I'll just save up a little more for that v3 but we'll see what happens once I start getting closer to having all the money together. I might change my mind and go for the v1. The self contained head unit would definitely be nice though.
